AmpLified Gameballs and Lameballs vs TAM
I wanted to start off this week by ranting and raving but it won't do anybody any good and it will just put me back into the horrendously pissed of mood I have been in all day. Hopefully, this will stir up the guys in the locker room a little. Hopefully, this will be a game that we can trade for an unexpected win in the future against another team that we expect to beat the Rams. Hopefully...aw forget it.
GAMEBALLS
Steven Jackson: The Best. The Beast. The Best Horned Beast to run the ball for our Rams. Congratulations, Steven. We love ya.
Danny Amendola: The Human Gameball gets a gameball for his overall game returning, rushing, and catching a TD. Wish some other guys in the WR corp had the same heart and determination as you.
Chris Long: Ran out of gas a little in the second half but who could blame him. He was a monster in the first half and gave it everything he had all game long.
LAMEBALLS
Coaching: Did everything perfectly to fuck up a game they had practically handed to them.
O Line and Bajema: Completely destroyed all good feelings of decent run blocking by killing at least 5 different drives with dumbshit penalties before the snap. Bajema for the false start and the terrible penalty on an Amendola return that took away superior field position.
Dropping Interceptions: How many were there? 3? 4? 5? All those amazing feelings gaining momentum in my mind about how this year could be ran flat into a wall when Togs and Dehl dropped that damn ball. That horrible nightmare feeling crept into my stomach when that happened. I thought to myself, "No way. That will NOT be a deciding factor in this game, right? .......Right?" But deep down, I knew. The Football Gods hate that crap. Hate it.
I am sure many others have feelings on this. Feel free to share them. I almost didn't write this week because I am so angry but if you are going to be here in the good times, you damn well be here in the bad times. Not all is lost. Hopefully....

i love the guy so much… but he looked super flat.. pressing the whole game.. Mr. Calm and collected looked very nervous and scared out there today. very uncharacteristic. anyone think gerald mccoy paid sam to throw the game today.

Remember the great 2004 and 2005 Rams teams...

Lameball to missed tackles
After Detroit beat our defense senseless, and now this Buc drive given up late in crunch time, I’m back on the “need an OLB” bandwagon that we were riding before the last draft.
The Bucs should not have been within a TD, and the Rams made LeGarrette freakin’ Blount look like Steven Jackson.
Blount in the 3rd Qtr, before the D was even tired: 8 rushes for 57 yards
leading to 6 of their 18 points.

Still think
we should’ve scooped up Blount, when the Titans dropped him. Would have been nice to continue a punishing style of rush game while #39 takes a breather. Oh well..
Sad to see...
….that Blount’s production against our defense has vaulted him into a fantasy league option now.
Is it just me, or does Sam Bradford look like he can be one of the Jonas Brothers?
Not just in the run game
the D line got to Freeman numerous times but couldn’t bring him down when we got hands on him in the backfield. We literally fell off of tackles and that hurt us. If we had snagged him just once or twice more the whole game should have changed.
Also, I can’t remember a time in the game when Blount took the ball into contact and did not win the collision against our LB’s, so an OLB is definately something that I am adding to my draft wish list.
Yep, Sam does deserve his first lame ball today.
Definitely not his best game. Also, please give one to Jerome Murphy. He’s had his good moments this season but watching him in coverage today made me want to throw my cat.
Take the leash off of the offense pleeeeeeease.

I think Sam did
what most rooks do, they have good and bad days. I have always wondered if playing in different time zones and at different times of the day affect players. Sam gave himself a lame ball in his after game interview so I’ll give him credit for that. Do you think the OU loss and the fact he had to wear Mizzou clothing, plus McCoy saying he was going to kill him had anything to do with it? I kind of think it had to do with tight coverage and worrying about throwing another pick or two. He might have been worried about losing the game by throwing an INT so much that his accuracy went to hell. Doesn’t help the recievers couldn’t get open.
i think you nailed it
he looked very nervous and pressing out there. He’s great but I think he was too concerned on not losing the game for us that he forgot he had to win it for us. Bulger played like that all year and lost so many games. The one thing I like about Bradford is the fact that he takes chances and they aren’t bad choices. He needs to relax again and he will be fine. I still love ya sammy b. Any one else think Mccoy paid Bradford to throw the game???? I know conspiracy lol
wonder if playing in different time zones and at different times of the day affect players
It sure does. A team that has to go across the country on the road has a good chance of losing.
A lot of betting sites, the real pro ones, detail stuff like that….everything down to what percentage of the time a road underdog covers the spread in October against this opponent vs.any cross country opponent, etc. More stuff than I can even keep in my head at one time.

Haha I doubt the Mizzou game had anything to do with it.
I’m sure he was pissed but a professional shouldn’t let that effect their game. He looked like he was trying too hard to not make mistakes and they ultimately led to bad throws, a lot of hesitation. No confidence in his throws, like the first half Josh Freeman.
Take the leash off of the offense pleeeeeeease.

nope, not at all
Do you think the OU loss and the fact he had to wear Mizzou clothing, plus McCoy saying he was going to kill him had anything to do with it?
every player wants to “kill” him because he’s made a shit load of money without doing anything

If I had 50 Million Guaranteed
I would have no fear at all, give me a career ending injury and I’ll go be an announcer. Anybody is better than Difert.
Coo coo CACHEW!
Hello Mrs. Robinson, on key drives (last two games)late in the game, L. Robinson drops, or doesnt keep feet in on HUGE third down plays that stopped drives. I said this guy has a lot to give and should be the leader of the WR…but he continues to hide his head and does nothing on the field to help his team….Lame Robinson….Coo coo CACHEW
