Post-TSR college football thread
Michigan St. and Auburn remain undefeated after their battles today. Missouri-OU? Thiz gonna be gud. Bring your derp face.
And thanks to everyone who called in/wrote in to Turf Show Radio. I honestly think that was our best episode of the year. Great stuff (Musberger porn?!). Unload your mind here for tonight.
Here's tonight's show:

We got a game
Tough turnover for Mizzou. Time to get real!
You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.
OMG
i hate the rain its already messing up mizzou

This is the only way
Mizzou can win this game…keep it close, don’t let it be a shoot out
Missouri drew up a great gameplan to deal with Travis Lewis
They’ve exposed his vulnerability on the double move over the middle. His base is too soft in coverage. Great performance by Mizzou’s Oline tonight.

Anyone else getting weird reception of the missouri game?
It sounds really weird (like listening to it on the radio)…
yeah it was ABC
fixed now

Looks like Bradford will be wearing Mizzou stuff next week at practice
I need to stop speaking too soon.
Cuz then something happens to get the other team right back in it.
Onobun > Gates
that return was nuts
i dont understand why they went for the 2 though. just kick the extra point so your only down 1 possession. i mean i know you would have to go for the 2 eventually but why bury yourself early

Well if you go for it now
You can manage the clock more efficiently for a two possession game (unless you waste all your timeouts like OU did).
Onobun > Gates
oh man 3rd straight week the number 1 goes down
i guess that makes oregon number 1 now. meh my vote would go for auburn
agreed
oregon’s schedule has sucked ass so far, i don’t care how much they beat crappy teams…

No comments on the Julio Jones dominance?
Well, he was dominant- put him in a Rams Jersey already.
Julio Jones for Rams 2011....NOT Devier Posey!!!
What'd he do?
I didn’t see it.
The only think I don’t like about him is his dropping problem. I don’t want Braylon Edwards. I’d rather have a Larry Fitz.
Onobun > Gates
He was a reliable threat all game
though it was Tennessee, he put up 12 rec. for >200 rec. yds. (though the TD’s are reserved for those RB’s). He made consistent seperation on some shorter routes, showed burner speed on the deep routes, and made some amazing grabs (he did have I think two drops in traffic that were easy, just concentration problem), all with McElroy at the helm.
AJ Green may be 1 still, but I think Julio is far and away #2. His catching isn’t spectacular but far from a detriment, and his speed/strength combo is undeniable. A future number 1- GUARANTEED.

how did Petersen do?
I see Auburn won.

my two cents, didn't see much
but Cam Newton had like 80 passing yds so not much to see in his pass defense. As far as speed, its obviously elite, his return skills were impressive. Not sure if it was motivation, blocking, recognition but he just wasn’t much of a factor on run D. I think he’s obviously the best corner though, I mean Amukamara got drubbed by Blackmon.

PS Fairley played out of his mind
probably a 2 horse race for DT right now between Dareus and Fairley. Fairley is probably the best pass rushing DT since Dorsey.
