Injury problem.

Now the Rams have had major injury problems with people going out with leg or knee injuries over the last five years, most recently Clayton. They have lost 2 tight ends and 3 wide receivers to those types of injuries just in this seasons first six weeks and preseason. The turf is known to make it harder on the players legs than natural grass so does anyone think that it is possible that the turf is one of the problems causing these types of injuries? I mean the wear and tear on their legs playing on turf has got to be causing some damage that natural grass wouldn't cause. Thoughts?
