College football thread, pt. 1
My watch list for this weekend is thinner than usual, but I don't think anyone's too butt hurt over it. Some good games on the slate on this cool Saturday.
And Turf Show Radio goes live in six hours. Join us, shant you? Yes, you shant.
College football and NFL prospecting begins....a now.
Oh, BTW, MTD has some notes up on today's action, and Buffalo Rumblings breaks down a ton of games. Great stuff.

Nebraska vs. Texas
If you haven’t seen Taylor Martinez QB for Nebraska you got to watch this kid. He’s the next Eric Crouch or Tommy Fraizer….but much better than they were.
He's fun to watch
But there’s soooooo much NFL talent in that game.
You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.
Mizzou @ Texas A&M
I’m not watching this for NFL prospects, but I don’t know what to think about Gabbert’s future in the NFL. He’s got the size and he’s completing near 70% of his passes this year. I don’t think he’ll be a first rounder, but he may be a good project in the NFL.
Darcy needs to go because:
Onobun > Gates... And because Darcy sucks.
Oh certainly
He’s a legit prospect. Keep an eye on Von Miller from A&M. He’s studlyish.

I've been more impressed
by the defense so far. Even in blowout games in the past, we’d still allow a good number of points. They’ve been pretty good this year, so far.
THIS year's the year. I hope....
Gabbert's looking pretty good today

John Clay
just watched Wisky beat my Buckeyes.
Thoughts on John Clay being added in the 4th round by us? Would make a great punch with Steven Jackson I think. Walterfootball.com doesn’t think he’s even taken in the top three rounds?
My boy Barkley with 5 TDs and no Picks in a Half.
2nd year sophomore people. If our D didn’t suck, we’d be undefeated.

Well fuck your school of choice as well.
At least you’re a Rams fan. :)
