After watching The Rams game I was a little upset about losing. But I still think we have something here. Just like all of you, I want to blame it on the wide outs. But that won't fix anything. Lee Evans is a 7 year veteran and his stats every game this year have not been great. But he has Ryan Fitzpatrick as his QB, not the greatest QB out there. I feel he would be our best bet, as we would probably not have to give up a 3rd round draft pick or higher. Maybe a 4th or 5th round draft pick and one of our receivers should be enough to get him from The Bills maybe considering they're a worst team than we are at this rate. They have lost every game, right now would be a good time to trade for Lee Evans considering how things are going on in Bills town, and bring someone who can help out Bradford.
This would allow us to keep Danario Alexander on the practice squad and not rush things with him. But I really do think we should call him up from the practice squad and give him some familiarity with things in a real game by throwing him in for special teams. Mardy Gilyard will get a ton of more reps now because of these injuries we are faced with. But we simply need to get some WR's just so we can have more options on offense. We really need some receiving because every game people are going to expect us to run with Jackson, and lets be honest with ourselves, he's getting stopped. I really feel we need to involve Mike Karney more with our offense as well. Fendi Onobun will get his time as well, but we need to be patient with him. I honestly think we should sort of use him like Indy uses Dallas Clark because of his size and speed for a tight end. I really hope they get these people involved because Sam Bradford needs that right now. If any of you watched him in the Big 12 you'd know how valuable a good TE with speed is for him, and a good FB who's involved in every play somehow. If we don't make any moves like these, our best bet is to bring the spread offense to the NFL.. Sounds crazy I know, but sometimes change is good.
