I dont get it?
They look like they don’t feel like playing I don’t really understand, how could you not be amped to to go to detroit and play an 0-4 team, they are sad, but who knows next time they win we will all be talking about the friggin team making the play offs which would be awful, hopefully we can lose enough games to draft A.J Green, barring a ridiculous come back I will spend the next few months looking forward to the draft.
I'm not sure
But my guess is a very very long time

its gotta be the season
looked too much like averys injury and welkers.. its never ever good when the cart comes out
It looked like an ACL
plus he is a Ram. So he’s probably done for the year. If he’s not I’ll honestly be surprised.
There are some bright spots...
The Rams are driving it down field despite adversity…they just need to punch it in.
The defense…man they just need to get a bit more inspired and get to hill
Giving up on the season already? That’s sad to be you. Tough game, but it’s not over… we’re in the worst division in football!

Flajole's getting his ass kicked
On that last Lions TD, where QB had all day to find his man, the Rams bench was screaming and yelling about something and it appeared that the players had confused the coverage. I think the announcer said they checked down to a Cover-2, that probably would’ve been Laurinaitis. That’s might’ve been either some miscommunication from the coaches to the players or simply a bad checkdown, but whatever the case you have to think this game is outta hand because the rookie DC didn’t have his guys prepared……and the same thing happened in Oakland if you’ll remember……
We also know linehan is going to try to sit on the ball and run the clock out
We can still get back in it.
They need
to pressure Hill. I mean come on, it’s SHAUN FREAKING HILL for crying out loud. Force some turnovers and get sacks already.

Sam Bradford drops back, sees Laurent Robinson in the open, and he completes the pass for a gain of 28! Oh- Wait, looks like a holding penalty is going to call this one back...(Oh wait; Barron's gone, ignore that last sentence).
rams have got to start throwing the ball down field a little bit....
the Lions are putting like 10 guys within the first 10 yards from scrimage

How much are we paying this O line?
It looks like too much right now
I'm giving the Rams one more possession.
Then I’m moving on with my day. I have lots of things to do today.

the 8 year olds i coach seem to give up when something bad happens on the opeing kickoff

Sigh...
This is the first game of the season where the Rams looked like the Rams of the last few years.
Not only are they not playing well, they don’t appear to be playing hard.
Did they take the Lions for granted? That’s the only thing I can think of…
Inconsistancy is gonna happen guys
Young team. Doesn’t mean they took the Lions lightly and got trapped, or that they’re bad players. It just means they’re in the development process.
On a different note, this moving webpage is a real pain in the ass to use. :)
Yeah
The guys might have started believing the hype too much already. This was a literal 2 steps forward and now one back, but I think it’s good for the guys to come back to earth and remember to grind and play like underdogs (kinda like how the Lions are playing….)
prolly because it was a huge field position kick...
i would love to have our best returner at that point
Yeah I hate the moving website, I thought it was just me.

good job
smith, i’m so glad we made you our first pick 2 years ago…
I think for what the rams are paying him
he should be able to block on fourth and long
I'm going to have a really tough
time watching this game to completion, I feel like curling up in the fetal postiion
We're losing this game on the lines
Dline can’t get at Shaun Hill, and the Lions are opening up lanes with consistency. On the other side, Bradford isn’t getting much time at all and Jackson hasn’t had much to work with
You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.
Biggest problem I see on offense is the lack of separation with our receivers.
Losing Clayton has completely shut down our passing game.
Losing Clayton and Avery has completely shut down our passing game.
If we had a real deep threat it wouldn’t be as bad as it is

17/27 is pretty good but his 3 TDs passes are
TD #1: Calvin Johnson fade – i could have done that
TD #2: 10 seconds of protection to a wide open Pettigrew
TD #3: 3 yard pass to Burleson who then ran for 15+ yards
and he should have been intercepted by Bartell…

I'm actually kind of curious to see what Feeley can do.
But not curious enough to pull Bradford when a game isn’t already over.
I think it would create too much of a story if we “bench” Bradford.
Darcy needs to go because:
Onobun > Gates... And because Darcy sucks.
I wouldn't pull him
he need the practice. I wouldn’t be only throwing bombs out though. Just run the base offense and get him reps.
and it's not like bradford's lost this game with bad play
he hasn’t made any great throws but has played alright
I dont know what we expect him to do.
The O-line isnt blocking well, and nobody is open. He can’t win the game by himself.
My hat's off to Detroit
They played well…granted we also made it easy, but a win’s a win as they say. Maybe it’s karma. Rams got their 1 win last year from the Lions, the Lions get their first this year from the Rams.
is that emotion out of the offensive line?
kind of looked like they didn’t care

We have to have the
most drops by WR’s in the league. Maybe recievers are used to the speed of the ball.
We will learn from this

You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.
It's only a game but...
…for today 3k, we can say “I told you so.”
Let’s pray it doesn’t pan out that way when it’s all said and done.

Hey, we're still on track to win 5-6 games this year which would be awesome.
It’s just that this game is one I thought we’d win.
Definitely
The questions I had about this team are even bigger, but Bradford is still Bradford, we have Steven Jackson, and I still like our secondary. But the D-line, WRs and OLBs are serious, serious issues

Right. A lot of us
predicted 4-6 wins, and really, even 4 is an improvement over last year. Be realistic guys, we knew this team still has missing pieces and is still depending on cast-off talent at some spots.
Is he still doing well without Suh?
Darcy needs to go because:
Onobun > Gates... And because Darcy sucks.
Yup
Although without Suh, he’s getting doubled all the time

Take out Bradford and Jackson. Remember when idiot Haslett kept Jackson in the blowout Dallas game a couple years ago and got his thigh injured? Out 3-4 weeks.
let's get a TD or two for Bradford
for the sake of my fantasy team which is dying a slow, painful death

And hopefully he can have a great game next week to get the Rams rushing record at home.
I’d hate for him to do it in Tampa Bay.

We still have a lot of holes. Wide Receiver is a position of strength when the depth chart is
Avery, Clayton, Amendola, Gilyard, Gibson. It’s not okay when the top two guys go down to season-ending ACL injuries, and then you lose the only good tight ends to injury (Bajema, Hoom’). On defense, we don’t have any good LB except for Animal Jr., and we’re screwed when Atogwe doesn’t play isn’t 100% because both Dahl and James Butler suck a lot.
whoever said this was right:
Bradford only throws to amendola because the others, why bother

It would pretty good if Avery and Clayton were both in there.
Without them, and with both capable tight ends out, we have nobody who can catch the ball besides Amendola. Gilyard will be good in the future, but I don’t Robinson nor Gibson have much potential.

We are they laughing and joking?
They just got embarrassed and need to get in the locker room and explain why they should stil be on this team
That was pathetic
After Clayton went down, and Amendola put the ball on the turf in the 1st, they just gave up, got some work to do Spags, you were made to look like a fool by the fucking Lions… You know, the only team in the league ever to go 0-16, and they were 0-4… Lame.
We didn't give up, we just aren't very good.
Atogwe is still injured, our receivers played possibly the worst game for a receiving corps ever, and both capable tight ends are injured. Played an extremely poor game everywhere.

Pretty wide gulf between Rams good games and their bad games
inconsistancy is what you get when you have such a young team. I think rookie OT’s in this game were a big problem.
They had some penalties, but they played pretty well besides that.
They’ll get better with time, I see them both being our tackles for years to come.

there were a couple of times they let Bradford get pressured badly
which made him rush throws or not be able to look for other options. Jason Smith was not very good today in particular (pass protection wise).
I think its way too early to give up on them or even judge them as picks, they should develop, yes, but today was not good.
