I was listening to Sirius NFL radio's coverage of the Senior Bowl yesterday and they were talking about Ole Miss RB Dexter McCluster. Evidently he was very impressive in practices and they were discussing what he could do in the NFL. I don't know much about him, but this is some of the stuff they said (good and bad):
- Crazy fast - was running around everyone
- Really small - He is 5-8 165 lbs. I think Steven Jackson's dreads weigh 165 lbs.
- Game changing ability - they said he reminded them of guys like DeSean Jackson, Darren Sproles, Percy Harvin, Chris Johnson etc.
- Great fit for an indoor team with an established RB already - here they specifically mentioned the Rams as being a great fit. Tim Ryan (one of the hosts) said he thought this guy would be a great game changer the Rams need behind S-Jack.
College Stats (from ESPN):
Anyway, I just wanted to pass along the info to the other Rams fans. I have never seen this guy play and everything I know about him is up there. Has anyone watched him play or know more about how he did at the Senior Bowl? I also don't know where he is expected to get drafted so I don't know if we are looking at 2nd round here or 5th round.
Here he is doing some sort of ninja move:
