Conference championships game thread
Jimmy Kennedy, Anthony Hargrove...which former member of the St. Louis Rams will make his presence known in today's conference championship game in a way they never did with the Rams?
Personally, I think the NFC Championship game has the potential to be the hot ticket, the kind of game this year's playoffs have really seemed to lack, for the most part.
Here's the official TST open thread with links to the NFC and AFC Championship game pages from SBN.

I was hoping to have the mock up today
I’ve got to get it put together. In any case, I’ve got the Saints and Colts in the SB after two solid defensive showings. Should be fun.
You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.
Saints and Colts
My main reasoning is the fact the I hate Brett Favre and as a fan what other way can i pick then using bias…..
plus I’m sure (hence hopeful) Favre is going to blow it while I am fully confident in what Brees can do and WILL DO…
As for the Colts, I expect….. not a very close game… I think the Jets will get bad karma (will some time) not deserving to get in if Colts try and not deserving to be here fi the kickers remember how to kick (5 consecutive missed FGs?)
Plus I don’t see a Colts defense that is better than the SD defense get ripped up…. Chargers only allowed 17, 7 of which is thanks to Phillip Rivers which I’m sure won’t happen to Peyton…
Anyway COLTS AND SAINTS!
Did anyone see that play the Colts ran with about 10 minutes in the 2nd Q?
It ended up a yard short of a TD, but the Rams ran that exact same play for a TD at the end of the season. Null to Amendola. Doesn’t mean much, just noticed that. BTW, Shurmur still sucks.
shut up
he sucks. right now with a great team..
12 TDs, 22 INTS

But he's in the AFC Championship game!
The Rams would be playing for the SB if they had him!
I’m glad the Jets are losing to shut this Sanchez stuff up. He was the reason they had fallen so far and if the Colts were not retarded would’ve been the reason they stayed home in January.
no kidding
the guy blows.

Sanchez doesn't suck
I’m not saying we should have drafted him, but to say he sucks is just wrong. the guy is doing them justice. He may not be the reason they are in the AFC championship game but without him, I doubt they get there.
Actually, without him...
…they probably wouldn’t hav been sweating it the last few weeks of the season. They migh have won their division of he’d just tooken care of the ball. Once they minimized his responsibilities, they started to win.

yeah
minimized responsibilities. cause he’s only good for handing off the ball to this backs.

But
He shows a lot of poise when he hands off. Frankly, I think he’s already the best in the game at dropping back and handing the ball off. There has never been another quarterback, much less a rookie, that has shown the ability to take the ball and put it in his running back’s hands.
Screw it; Bernie was right. The Rams ownership should be grilling Devaney on why he did not take this gifted ball handler No. 1. The 22 interceptions and 53 percent completion rate may be atrocious, but good lord, where else are the Rams going to find someone to hand off the ball better than Sanchez?
