Rams D Favorable Sleeper In Fantasy Football

KC Joyner likes the Rams D as a "sleeper" versus the Skins, and I quote:

"St. Louis (@ Washington)

Steve Spagnuolo has Jason Campbell's number. In 2007 and 2008, Campbell made 20 bad-decision passes, a number that is an incredibly low mark over a 32-game period. Spagnuolo's Giant defenses were responsible for forcing four of those bad decisions. Expect Campbell to make more mistakes than usual and the Rams to be a 6-8 point fantasy option because of it."

With the Rams much improved secondary, and a knack for pick off's that could hold true.. if we can get our offense going maybe we could still slvage the season to an extent.

Agreed, but...

we’ll likely need the “D” to do the actual scoring. Whenever they provide a gift in the redzone to our offense, we generally only back out of FG range due to penalties or sacks. Also, with the lack of pressure on the passer by rock-of-ages Little and Hall, plus Chrissy Long, it’s a little hard to get those picks and fumbles.

lets hope

I like your input VT. But i believe theirs a huge barrier from telling your players what to do and your players from actually doing it. The rams have had that problem in the past due to bad picks, players who don’t belong, and somewhat idiotic coaches what have you But. Slowly but surely we are making progress finding out what works and does not work (Bulger running around like a chicken without a head) and fixing it (give the ball as much as you can to Steven Jackson) though it might not work find out the errors and fix it right away if you can or wait for the off season.

I agree

We really abandoned the run last week, but as many have mentioned, 2nd and 22, 3rd and 24, how can you possibly dedicate yourself to the run with several of those situations?

Mistakes took away our running game last week, not the coaching staff entirely.

I think we’ll see a much improved team in regards to mistakes, and SJAX should see the ball a lot more if that’s the case.

What has 22 legs and can't move? The Rams offense.
