I just heard that the Eagles are probably going to cut Hank Baskett. They are activating Vick and need to free up a roster spot. Baskett could be an option for the Rams at WR. He's obviously not anything too special but could be a big receiver that the Rams definitely could use. Considering their current situation at WR he might be worth picking up. He's definitely better than Tyree who's name was thrown around the past few days. Thoughts?

very similar stats
both have 6 touchdowns and 1 fumble
baskett has about 400 more yards
both have played since 2006

Baskett had a contract for over $1.5 million.
The Rams couldn’t have fit that under their salary cap. That $20 some million of dead money we have is just killing us in situations like this.
