Week 1, Rams at Seattle: Second half open thread
Let's hope the offense studied the playbook a little more during the half.
What's the difference? Uh, more discipline would help....help a lot.

Why didn't Donnie Jones make the Pro Bowl?
He’s damn near perfect every punt.

Not much
The Seahawks adjusted on offense. Is it even possible ours might?

Is this a learning curve or are we just horrible?
What has 22 legs and can't move? The Rams offense.
Welcome, dick
You’re lucky we didn’t stomp you early. Who goes to other people’s sites to talk shit? Either you’re 14 years old, or you’re incredibly classy. Fuck off.

Was gonna pick on his name "Dick"
but realized mine is “Peter”

Don't make me angry
You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry….oh wait, it’s your guys in the ridiculous green clothing.
THIS year's the year. I hope....
I hate to admit it
but hat was a great tackle by Curry

Incognito should be released
Honestly, Spags must have been screaming at the offense during halftime about discipline, and he comes out and acts like a bonehead for the second time. Buy-bye
Thank God for fantasy football....
If not, I would have nothing to look forward too.

I hate thinking about next season 3 quarters into this season
but I’m starting to.
Incognito needs to go
Just think, only 15 more games of this crap.
The front office should have learned a lesson & hired an established head coach. Spags may turn out all right, but its obvious from that 1st half that with this personnel, hes in over his head. The penalties alone are a perfect example of a team that is not very well coached, not to mention the wasted timeouts and 12 men on the field should never, ever happen in an NFL game. And, is there any reason that Richie Incognito should even be a Ram in the 1st place after what hes done in the past? By the time the Spags era is over, I have a feeling that they may turn back into the L.A. Rams…really, who would waste their money to watch this debacle. I hope Im wrong.
What is the deal?
I don’t understand. personnel aside, this is just sad. Can anything motivate these guys?
Spagamania is in full bloom
same old rams
Different coach, players waiting to throw in the towel so they can lick their wounds.
there's two sacks
was that Jacob Bell?

Decent separation
decent pocket, but penalties are killing us. 15 yards is a drive killer.

Why isn't that a personal foul on Seattle?
I just saw one of their guys punch us just like Cogs did. These refs are BS

So much for our high proced
free agent O lineman.. haven’t seen anything against unknowns

I'm ready for a knock-down, drag-out fight.
Can I get one of those today, or are we leaving Cogs on the sideline?
THIS year's the year. I hope....
Un flucking believable
How much time did he have? You’re not going to get a better pocket. Nobody was open? Bulger has to take the hit to get this O going? Who’s playing WR?!
Your uncle molests collies.
no shit
where are the wide receivers today?
can’t pin this on the line…other than Cogs’ stupidity.

My thoughts EXACTLY
Would love to see the game film on a few of those plays where Bulger had so much time he could start a freakin’ campfire, yet doesn’t unload for one reason or another.
What has 22 legs and can't move? The Rams offense.
I've seen the Rams
get 17 points in 5 minutes. By my math, that’s 51 points by the end of this game….is that being too optimistic?
THIS year's the year. I hope....
with this offense... optimistic is an understatement
What has 22 legs and can't move? The Rams offense.
RT @greggrosenthalNot sure if the Seahawks D is that impressive or Marc Bulger is this bad. Really not sure why Rams didnt get another QB.
Yeah
pressure has not existed DE-DT combo on the pass rush has been woeful

What happened to these “exotic” packages? Only person I’ve seen touch Hasselback is Vobora.

People might want to hate on Bulger
but he hasn’t thrown a pick. He’s just not forcing it when it isn’t there and it hasn’t been “there” way too often today
Your uncle molests collies.
Not hating him.. just a comment on production
is it WR or just holding the ball afraid to make a play?
What has 22 legs and can't move? The Rams offense.
Exactly
He’s not forcing it. He’s just sitting back waiting for receivers to get a 10 yard cushion. At this point, do something! Fluck it….throw it in a tight space and see what happens. I would rather that than him try to run around and throw it away. His specialty is accuracy nt scrambling. Do something!!! I’m tired of him sitting around waiting for them to get open!!

They still have
Hasselbeck in the game. I think we should tear him in half….
THIS year's the year. I hope....
We have to get to him
to tear him in half. NO pressure on the QB is asking the secondary to do too much

Going into this season, I thought the DTs would be the weak point of the line
If today is any indication, we need a DE. Badly.
Your uncle molests collies.
You have to feel bad for Action Jackson
He hasn’t had a lot to work with today.
Your uncle molests collies.
Bulger tried to force that one
And he had great protection. Our WRs are much worse than I expected.
Your uncle molests collies.
Not so great
that time. Bulger needed to step through.

I wonder where Isaac Bruce is?
Could he be any worse than the WRs we have now? Only Avery seems visible…
And this makes me question the decision
to go down to 4 WRs. Why was the coaching staff and management confident in this group’s ability?

They just announced a great stat
8 1st downs, 8 punts. You don’t score that way.
Your uncle molests collies.
The sad thing about this game is
Seattle score four touchdowns all offensively, and I’ll leave this game feeling good about the defense.
Your uncle molests collies.
I think deep down we all knew...
didn’t we? Be honest.
What?
Did we know this after the 1st quarter after Seattle’s first 4 possessions yielded 2 INTs, a fumble and a punt?

I love this team...
As much as you all do.
But the truth is, we have too many question marks at too many positions.
When I was in the 4th grade
my Dad went to bed and left the Rams Saints game because they were down 28 points with 5 or so minutes left… then flipper game out to play and we won….
lets go #17!
You should follow your Dad's advice

Robinson!
loses his hat and makes the play!
Great catch by Robinson
It took us 84% of the game to engineer a drive. Pathetic.

Nothin' means anything now...
The Seattle “D” in in cruise control. They’re not gonna risk injury in a blowout.
That's twice in a row
Patrick Kerney has been perfect off the snap. He’s gotten a key on the count.

WTF?
why are they runing up the middle on that play?

Bill Walsh in his heyday
couldn’t devise an offense with this pathetic group.
Next, we've got to beg, borrow or steal a DT and DE...
…if we have to trade away all our draft picks. We ain’t worth a damn in workin the draft anyway.
Then, why let him wriggle on the hook...?
Bulger’s skills and leadership are gone. Null can hand the ball to Jax and he can’t possibly do any worse than zero points.
we won't go 0-16
be reasonable.

Positives
Greatest Show on Turf: The punting game.
umm…
0 ints for Bulger
Lauranitus 10 tackles- 4 assists
Bulger almost had 50% completion.
+2 on turnovers or +1 if turnover on downs counts.
Avery averaged 8 yards per carry
we almost scored a touchdown
Incognito might not be a Ram next week
Incognito needs to go
Shurmur needs to go
