Pre-Rams open thread

If you're going to have your ass parked on your couch watching football like myself, feel free to use this thread to discuss anything.  And I mean anything.

It could be any reactions from yesterday's college football games (which were incredible).  It could be other games from around the league.  It could be a critique of whatever fried foods dripping in cholesterol and lacking any nutritional value you're about to stuff into your face, such as the holy taco:

Whatever is on your mind before the Rams take the field in Seattle, this is the place to unload.

Let's Get Some Blood Pumping

The time has come once again. The one week of the football year when we say “Why not us?”

4 Hours until kickoff and I have chills from excitemnt, This is what we wait for all off season… the last time we had a week 1, we had *cough Linehan.

How many were excited? I certainly wasn’t. Don’t get me wrong, but let’s get real. I expected nothing from the Rams last year, and HOPED for something.

This year, I actually expect something… we have Spags, new hope, new life.

Let’s get the Spags era off to a great start!!!

GOOOOOO RAMS!

Go Rams!

and Go Bruins! Still excited with the win over Vols yesterday. I came into both football seasons both realistic and optimistic at the same time – here’s to the Rams starting off with a division road win!

That was a solid win

but it is Tennessee. Crompton is a joke of a SEC QB.

True - Crompton is not a good QB...

regardless of the conference but no one gave the Bruins a chance either as 8.5-10 pt dogs in Neyland with a young team. College is completely different from the NFL so I am not trying to compare the two but both Coach Neu and Spags are going the same direction with youth and culture change. Hope springs eternal!

Yeah

I like UCLA’s upside. I liken you guys to Miami; a lot of movement available in the conferencing and great recent recruiting. Yall need to hold on to Tony Jeff.

classic Tigers

always look like they’re taking it easy against easier opponents. that’s the problem. they’re schedule is just too damn easy

Clemson fan here in SC...

glad Georgia could pull off the nail-biter against USC (South Carolina)

That was a wild game

Some great contests yesterday, and that was definitely one of them. Offensive explosion times 3.
Clemson is going to be something special these next two years. Their 2008 class was phenomenal.

Jacoby Ford and CJ Spiller

are a force not to be messed with on offense…
and with Kyle Parker emerging… its gonna be fun to watch.

Your strength should be your D-line

DaQuan Bowers, Brandon Thompson, Malliciah Goodman? That’s stacked.

I have too many fantasy teams this year

I can’t keep them all straight. And the real problem is that routing for a guy on my team means routing for him when I’m playing against him. This is so emotionally confusing…

Chose not to participate in ff this year..

Vikings Look Pathetic

Seems like they can’t pass like everyone thought they would be doing well

Wyoming limited Texas to just 41 points

and scored 10. I think we’re close in Laramie!

UNT lost to Ohio

in double overtime. Almost started off 2-0. There’s some solid recruiting hype behind us after the Ball St. win, but next year, UNT should have a hell of a class with the new stadium around the corner.

I still have a lot of questions. I hate the college football rankings this year.
