I really about had it with the rams this past year. It just seems like since 2002 and 2003 the rams have been losing great players due to injury, age, and bad decisions made by the front office. After losses of kyle turley, dre bly, london fletcher, aeneas willams, Issac Bruce, Marshall Faulk, Kurt Warner, The Dounut Brothers, (timmermin and mccollum) etc. We had idenity then. They where very skilled and played through pain and never had serious injurys (sorry turley) they jus could play football and had a winning vibe to them. And thats what i think Spags is doing today for example as well as the off season. We never had a good full back since Hedgecock, so what did we do? got rid of linehan's hybrid leonard and got Karney. And the o line was bad so he sighns Brown where starting to get people who can make plays not jus fancy popular players that where good in colledge. Hence Hill and Klop have left the building. If your a player who simply can not make plays and gets burnt or drops passes time and time again or is inconsistant they dont belong on the field because its makeing decent people look really bad. Spags i know for a fact plays unselfish football thats very tight knit and plays as a solid unit. This will be a good season because he will see first hand who can play how they react in the locker room and how well they bounce back. Reminds me of vermeil except he doesnt show his passion in his emotions. But you cant judge him until hes coached a year. All i know by the decisons made this off season and how things are going so far this team looks to be headed in the right direction
