Null's not void & Sunday morning caption this
There's not much to talk about of immediate importance this morning, the St. Louis Rams didn't have practice yesterday. I'm anxious for an update on Adam Carriker's ankle, but other than that...
Here's an interesting report on 6th round pick QB Keith Null's performance in Friday's scrimmage:
Friday night, in the first organized scrimmage, Null made a big statement. He was much more effective than Berlin, directing a pair of sustained drives, including a 40-yard pass to fellow rookie Brooks Foster, and did not commit a turnover. In goal-line drills, he connected with rookie tight end Jerome Johnson on a touchdown pass, throwing a perfect ball into tight coverage and hitting Johnson in stride. Berlin, on the other hand, had a couple of poorly thrown balls that were intercepted. First-year Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo said Null caught his eye.
I"m still on the record as thinking Null will beat out Berlin for the coveted 3rd QB spot.
Ok, now for some Sunday morning coming down captioning. Anyone notice how similar head coach Steve Spagnuolo and defensive coordinator Ken Flajole resemble each other? Uncanny.
Caption away.

Yeah I noticed.
They’re gonna have to wear big, bold name tags on the sideline during the games or we’ll never tell ’em apart.
Go Rams.
"We can't run. We can't pass. We can't stop the run. We can't stop the pass. We can't kick. Other than that, we're just not a very good football team right now." --- Bruce Coslett, New York Jets Head Coach circa 1990s
Strong Arm?
I like this Keith null kid and his NFL classic QB pro-type size 6-4 220.Does Null have a strong arm too?
well
from what I remember during the draft, the reason he dropped down to the 6th round is because of his weak arm, and supposedly back-up QB potential for the NFL. I hope that was a load of BS
"Twin-headed infinite swirling vortex of grotesque suckitude known as Tony Clark and Eric Byrnes"
Null as number one
At the end of the season, after Bulger is injured, Boller Busts, and Null steps up-we will see a new era of production. Null is what Bulger was years ago when he (Bulger)replaced a washed out Warner. Warner was booted by the Giants, and barely made the backup roster at the Cards. Bulger may follow that same path and return to greatness somewhere else. But for now, a season of learning for Null from Bulger (check the stats-Bulger is one of the better QB’s) and watch Null go next year as our starter.

Because you two can’t stop fighting over who gets #55, neither of you get it! You will be #54 and you will be #56. Get it, got it, good!
