Updating the Rams Opener

We've heard a lot about our own injuries, but is our opponent for the season opener faring any better? The clock is ticking on some of these injuries.

  • The Seahawks' former all pro Left Tackle Walter Jones just underwent another knee surgery and is out indefinitely, so their RT will move on over and is a considerable downgrade in pass protection. Little and Long both will have better matchups.
  • 28 year old CB MarcusTrufant is having serious back problems, hasn't practiced since camp kicked off, and has no return date. If he isn't ready to go by week 1, Seattle will probably go with Josh Wilson and Ken Lucas as starters, which isn't going to scare anyone.

These are 2 of their most important players on each side of the ball. Looks like taking Curry at #4 really left them vulnerable with 35 year-old Jones already trying to come back from injury, and now this. They could've had a Eugene Monroe type tackle in he draft but went for the OLB instead. Rejoice, St. Louis Rams fans! This is a mistake Billy Devaney did not make.
