I believe that...
Klop, Antonio Pittman,Tye Hill, Brock Berlin and Leonard Little or James Hall will be gone during, or by the end of, training camp.

I see all of those a possibility except
Hill & Little. Hill could see solid playing time at the nickel and we’re too thin at DE to let Hall & Little go. As it sits right now, I expect all three to stick around. Klop, Pittman & Berlin, on the other hand, I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see them go.

I just think...
Hill is a perennially injured player that can’t give 100%. I heard he was on his way out after the Spring camp. We’d do just as good with the younger backups on the D-Line than with Little and Hall who were repeatedly blown out last year. I can’t imagine either has improved with age. A lot of guys got to get cut to get down to 52 players.

Hill isn’t going anywhere. He will probably start opposite Bartell. I don’t know why people like to hate on him. So he has been injured a lot. So has Donovan Mcnabb. From what I have read he has really worked hard this offseason and has looked pretty good. Little and Hall are staying too. Again, whats up with all the hate. Those two combined will get about one sack per game. Sounds good to me. Go Rams

Did you actually watch any Ram games last year?
Hall got a few sacks. But he and Little were consistently blown out by opposing O-lineman. That’s how we kept getting gashed for 20, 30 & 40 yard runs. Does 2-14 or 3-13 again really sound that good to you?

ill...
How are you going to compare Hill with McNabb?
Lived in LA during the Rams and Raiders days. Now based in NorCal, I am still a die hard Rams fan and Raiders season ticket holder.

edpjr, you mean 53 players...not 52...
and there’s just one thing wrong with getting rid of Little and Hall…if they were to get rid of ‘both’ of them that would leave the Rams with only four veteran DEs:
Chris Long
Victor Adeyanju
C. J. Ah You
Eric Moore
And two brand new, undrafted, unproven rookies:
Ian Campbell
Kirston Pittman
No way that’s ever going to happen! Nope, the only way I see them losing both of them would be injuries.
Go Rams!

We may not need eight DE's on the roster, and...
some better quality players may become available before the season starts. I certainly don’t hate any of our players including Little or Hall. Both men were good players in their day. It’s just time to call it a career.

I thought Hall surprised everyone
a little last year when he rushed the passer from a DT position. He was able to get in there and cause some disruption. Knowing that Spags likes to slide DE into tackle slots on pass rushing downs, Hall just might fit pretty well. Little’s future depends entirely upon whether he can stay healthy. He’s getting to the age where injuries happen more often, and he’s had his share. Healthy he can help, injured he probably can’t.
