Rams will not invite AFL return man to camp

Earlier today we reported that the St. Louis Rams tried out AFL cornerback and return man Terrance Sanders for potential invite to training camp and a shot at competing for return duties with the Rams. And the results are in...

Sanders will not get an invitation to camp, but he will remain on a "ready list" comprised of players who could be available in case injuries decimate the current roster. 

Also trying out with Sanders today was Saunders...wha? Tommy Saunders, the former Mizzou wide receiver. Like Sanders, Saunders will be added to the "ready list." 

The battle for kick and punt returning jobs is shaping up to be an interesting subplot to this year's training camp.
