Tim Carter surprises; notes from practice
And a good Saturday morning to you. Just wanted to pass along a couple links you may have missed.
Sando puts down a few observations on the Rams Friday practice. Among the highlights: Keep an eye on WR Tim Carter, interesting. He calls Jason Smith "physically impressive" and notes that he might add more weight. I'm anxious to see Smith work with pads on. Laurinaitis is starting to make some defensive calls. He'll quarterback the defense, along with SS James Butler, so that he's into the playbook enough to start making calls is refreshing news.
The PD notes from yesterday have an interesting item: Chris Long and Alex Barron are going against each other in practice. Another battle I'll be anxious to watch once they've got pads on.
Back at you later...

Jason Brown
I found this quote from today’s Bernie’s Bits to be a bit interesting. I’ve never heard anyone say this about Brown. Everything’s been pretty positive, but then Alex Marvez of FoxSports (I really don’t know who that is….is that bad?) went and named Jason Brown the “worst FA signing of the offseason”, saying…
The Rams overpaid for a player whose limited athleticism makes him a better fit at guard
Here’s the link. It’s about 2/3 of the way down the column.
I have a very, umm...photographic brain. A lot like Ansel Adams but in color and with a lot more, uh.....insertion and pubic hair.
