6. Steven Jackson
Jackson had a down year in St. Louis, but so did everyone. I don’t expect his numbers to get much better because, well, I don’t expect the Rams to get much better. Still, the 25-year-old (I can’t believe he’s only 25!) has the raw skills that Turner or Forté (or anyone below him on this list) can only dream of.
Goal-Line Stand ranks the NFL running backs, giving Jackson a surprise spot behind, well, some surprise names.

Really?
I do not care what this guy has to say, especially when he said this about Forte…
3. Matt Forté
This is as much about circumstance as it is talent. Forté had 379 touches last season, which is just absurd for a rookie. And despite being the focal point of every opposing defence he faced, the Tulane product racked up over 1,700 total yards. This year, with the attention teetering more squarely between the running and passing games, Forté will have more room to work.
This guy has the intellect to use such words as ‘teetering’ and ‘absurd’ and ‘focal point’, yet he doesn’t have the common sense to spell DEFENSE right. He looses all credibility. NEXT!
On this team, we are all united in a common goal: to keep my job.
