Come on Post Dispatch
It will most likely be changed by the time some of you check it, but the Post Dispatch went a little "Jason" crazy with their most recent articles. All over the Ram's page online they have links to stories about how our guard Jason Bell needs to step up, etc. I am sure it is a harmless mistake, but come on. If I were a professional journalist and I was paid to know the names of the people on the Ram's roster (at least the starters and at the very least the big free agent acquisitions of the last few years) I would probably have gotten it right. It is a little funny though. I imagine that in the picture, Jacob Bell is looking up saying "Did he just call me Jason?"

It's even in the headline
Here’s the story. Hey Post-Dispatch, if I get out in early 2011 and you need a sports editor, holler at your boy!
Jay Zygmunt, now that you have fired yourself, please have yourself hired by Seattle. Thanks.

Yeah, I saw it too and had to think about it for a second.
We do have a lot of Jason’s it seems.
Btw, the journalists don’t write the headlines. That’s usually written by someone who is organizing the page or something. Not that it’s an excuse, but it’s not the journalist’s fault. He or she writes the column (and the name is correct in the column) and someone else writes the headline. It’s done like that everywhere.
Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky and I went horseback riding, but there weren't any horses around? Anyway, Brasky throws a saddle on my back and rides me around Wyoming for three days. Well, wouldn't ya know it, my stamina increased with each day, and I develop tremendous leg muscles. So anyway, Brasky decides to enter me into the Breeders Cup under the name Turkish Delight. And Im running in second place, and I'm running, and I break my ankle. So anyway, they're about to shoot me. Then someone from the crowd yells out, God bless him, Dont shoot him, he's a human.

It's an editorial chain issue
So just to reiterate, Post-DIspatch honchos, if you’re looking for someone with editorial experience who is professional and, if I may say so, scarily handsome, please consider hiring 3k around March 2011.

OK journalists don't write the headlines...
so I will change my argument. If I was a professional editor and I was paid to make sure facts are correct and things were written so they make sense I might take 5 seconds to re-read my 8 word headline and check for errors, lol.
The more concerning fact is that it was up on the website wrong for like 5 hours. It isn’t a big deal at all and it is kind of funny. And I might add that if you were looking at a roster and you saw J. Bell your best bet would probably be to guess Jason due to the fact that our line also has Jason Brown and Jason Smith.
