Burress and the Rams?
I heard on sports talk radio this afternoon that the Rams may be interested in signing Plaxico Burress if his legal troubles and the commissioner allow him to play this year. The Bears said they weren't interested, but the story is the Rams are interested.
He's a fine receiver, but not very bright about the way he lives his life. What do you think? Should the Rams take a run at him, or is he poison?

This one is tough
He’s such a perfect fit strategically, but I don’t know if it’s worth it to bring in a guy with so much off-the-field baggage. I’ll let the community talk this one up.
Your uncle molests collies.

He's getting older at 31...
So it’s definitely going to be a short term solution. Even with Plax on the Rams we are not going to be super bowl contenders, so really whats the point? Without Plax we can give our younger WR’s some starting time and really develop those guys. Though I think Plax would really add some excitement to our team and who knows, MAYBE even some respect.

"whats the point?"
That’s kind of where I sit.
I don’t see the immediate benefit. This project is minimially a year away and realistically two years away. Is he going to be on the team for 3 years and still be the stud he was for the Giants by then? That’s the question you have to ponder.
Secret elixir, huh? Well, I'm usually more of a bourbon guy but when push comes to shove I don't know what the hell's in that either.

31
is still young for a good WR, besides his problems i cant see any reason not. the coaching staff will decide if the can deal with that or not but as far as him as a player its not much of a question.

Not according to StL Dispatch
Of course they don’t seem to know the names to any of the offensive line either…
We need a pitcher...not a DL itcher!

This whole thing
may have just been a rumor someone started and sports radio picked it up without any knowledge of the source. They sure spent a lot of time talking and arguing about it on air yesterday.

Just say NO...
Any moron who shoots himself in the leg doesn’t deserve to be in the NFL making millions… He should be out cleaning toliets for a living but then again maybe the respectable janitors of the world don’t want him in their profession either… I pass on this idiot…

"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone..."
I’m not advocating giving Plaxico a job. But this clown shot himself, not anyone else. Maybe he learned a lesson??? That’s for Spags and co. to decide. I understand he was also charged with having an “illegal” gun. Is that some liberal NY jargon meaning he didn’t have a proper registration or permit? It amazes me that some states and local governments can pass gun control laws that violate the US Constitution. Down south where I live, “gun control” means how steady your aim is. Maybe Burress and Vick should both just be executed for their capital crimes…

I have to say no
Not that I care about the 4 pillars or any other kind of shackling device, ( I think 2 or 3 pillars would be just fine) I’m just not sure there’s enough in it for us. Like pointed out before, he’s not going to play in 2010, for anyone.
