you lucky ass
We’ll try to work it! For the record, I’d say that’s a very high bar to reach, but it’s definitely attainable.
Jay Zygmunt, now that you have fired yourself, please have yourself hired by Seattle. Thanks.

Possible topic: was character really the defining difference between Maualuga and Laurinaitis?
Jason Smith versus Curry/ Crabtree/ Sanchez is going to be debated for the next several years, I’d bet. But it was clear whic direction the organization wanted to go in that one, regardless of the consequences.
But the pick between Laurinaitis and Maualuga is a really intriguing topic. What exactly was the thought process? What does this tell us about Devaney/ Spagnuolo? I’d definitley like to hear some talk on this.

NFC West
I would like to hear a discussion on how the NFC West is going to be impacted by getting the top 3 players, regardless of position, in this years draft. Crabtree, Curry, and Smith were teh highest rated players on a lot of "expert"’s draft boards.
That and how often Spag and Devaney reiterated character for each round’s press conference, which means no Plaxico regardless of how much we need a player of his ability.

Question
Can you expect the rams to rebound from the horrifying year they had last year, like the dolphins did? You’d think that a team with the second overall pick 2 years in a row would be able to put something together, especially with the new coach, and front office, etc. I’ve been hearing that Rams’ record could be anywhere from 3-13 to 10-6, what do you think, not like you’re Nostradamus though.

Topic Must Discuss
In the thread “Afternoon Minicamp roundup: Rust never sleeps”, edpjr and I are having an argument about alot of things, but my main rebuttal is about how he thinks 3 teams in the NFC West can go 10-6. I think there is about a 0% chance that that happens and he thinks there is a good chance that it’s gonna happen. And according to your draft, (3k’s?) you agree with me. But, just to make edpjr happy, you guys should give reasons why 3 teams could go 10-6. Since the 4 division conferences, that’s only been done once, by the 2007 AFC South. I don’t think he understands that mathematically, it is hard, since you face teams in your division 6 times.

matt jones
ahhhh, matt jones. growing up in southwest missouri, i got to see a bunch of matt jones in college. LOADS of up side, but seems like a real fixer upper. is spags up to the challenge? i would like to have a big target like that. could he an ingredient in the wildcat formation? i would love to see laurent robinson do well, but a matt jones would be a nice option as well. but in the words of “rick james” cocaine is a helluva drug
