..And the Rams are on the clock.

The Lions have agreed to a six year deal with quarterback Matt Stafford, with reportededly 41.7M in guaranteed money.  The Rams are officially on the clock, and the Draft is only hours away.  Is anyone else besides me anxious?  Part of me wants to see a playmaker like Curry, but the other part wants to see a solidified offensive line that can lay the foundation for the offense.  Let's hope the new management behind the Rams makes the right pick.

Every report I see

says the Rams are taking an offensive tackle, probably J. Smith. Since it appears we won’t be able to trade down – Denver has said they aren’t trading up – I think the Rams will probably do the safe thing and take an OT.

I believe Curry is the right pick

Both positions are a need, but Curry is the standout at his position, and is perfectly suited to Spagnuolo.

That said, I’ll only be truly upset if we take Sanchez or Crabtree.

What?

I’ll be more than happy about Crabtree. Forget those report about him being a Primadonna (he was fine a month ago and surprise one week before the draft they say he is a T.O.), he is hell of a WR and a better playmaker on offense than anybody in the draft. WR is one of our weakest position, we do not have a legit number 1 receiver.

I will be happy with either:

Smith, Curry or Crabtree. I believe crabtree is the last one on the list, cause i’m sure rams can get a wide-out in later rounds.

Drop Crabtree

We’ll be able to grab a receiver later

Wow...

so much Mark hate.

I would love to take him and trade Bulger. OK, OK, waste of a pick. But I would love to see my childhood friend get picked up by my favorite team- rebuilding be damned.

Hill earned the starting job for the 2009 season by beating out Alex Smith, who missed last season after re-injuring his surgically repaired throwing shoulder. Head coach Mike Singletary largely chose Hill based on his play down the stretch last year: he went 5-3 over the final eight games and he also owns a 5-0 record at home in Candlestick Park.
