In the SBN blogger's draft hosted by Mocking the Draft, I made the Rams second round pick this week. And who did this Rams fan pick in the second round?

Ron Brace - DT - Boston College

Why? After taking OT Jason Smith with the second overall pick (Curry went #1) I felt like the Rams needed to get the best defensive player available. That left me with three possibilities: Georgia Tech DE Michael Johnson seemed like too big of a question mark (a la Vernon Gholston). I almost picked Wake Forest CB Alphonso Smith, who could be a top notch CB. He was tough to pass up. That left DT Ron Brace who can be a building block for the defensive front.
