Rams sign six - Monday Twitterrata
The Rams re-signed two useful role players today, OL Mark Setterstrom and DE Eric Moore.
Setterstrom made an impression when pressed into starting duty during the o-line injury outbreak of ought-six (2006 in non-grizzled prospector talk), but spent the bulk of the next two years sitting out with injuries. According to the PD article he participated in the first round of off-season conditioning programs today. DE Eric Moore has been an on-again, off-again practice special teamer.
The four other players - QB Jeff Otis, DB Marcus Brown, C Tim Mattran and TE Eric Butler - are practice squad fodder who will help round out the roster for training camp.
Missing from the workouts that started today was RB Steven Jackson, who's attending to some family matters before reporting. Not to worry, Jackson's been keeping in shape. According to his Twitter page, he ran 5 miles today...in 26 minutes.

5 miles in 26 minutes?
Damn
That means he’s running over an average 11.5 miles an hour. I can’t even do that for 3/4 of a mile, let alone 5. I guess that’s why he gets paid millions for it.
i was thinking the same thing

Is Cutler for Bulger
too farfetched of an idea? and maybe give them our 2nd rounder…………they get a QB and dont have to start all over……….we get a QB to help with the rebuilding……
Yes that is too far fetched. You can kiss the cap space free’d up by Holt and Pace goodbye.
While were at it, lets sign Jason Taylor and trade for Julius Peppers.
You could double our available cap space
and it still wouldn’t be enough room.
Getting two tickets to an execution is like getting two tickets to NASCAR, except you KNOW Jeff Gordon's gonna die.
see dad,
that crossed my mind, as i heard on ESPN radio, that they want a QB to replace Cutler, not a draft pick. For a while, I thought I had a genius idea, I mean if TO can go to Buffalo, why not. Then the idea wilted, as the cap room is too small, plus we have a very high pick, which will just be impossible
