Week in Rams: it's getting drafty in here
It started with a nasty Super Bowl hangover. We got on with the draft talk and started thinking about the Rams offseasons plan with free agency and the Combine just weeks away. A look back...
- The Rams brought back Steve Loney and Art Valero to coach the o-line. Both guys, along with asst strength and conditioning coach Chuck Faucette who was also retained, were relatively untainted by the scandals of the past, all three joined the Rams in 2008.
- A review of key dates for the offseason.
- Rams FS O.J. Atogwe tops the list of the team's free agent defensive players. He'll get a new deal or the franchise tag. Will the team keep any of these other guys?
- Middle linebacker prospects of interest to the Rams.
- The TST Mock Draft database...update set for Monday.
- And with the second overall pick in the mock draft, 3k selects...
- The Rams need a center to beef up their line. If Devaney and new Pro Personnel team led by Mike Williams opt to find one in free agency, it could be one of these guys.
- The chain of command at Rams Park is set.
- Cap space...all important, but oh so confusing. A look at the Rams cap situation.

Reading this reminded me.
I was listening to my favorite radio show, Boers and Bernstein, on The Score (670 AM in Chicago) when out of nowhere Dan Bernstein started gushing over O.J. Atogwe and how he’s dying to have him on the Bears.
A teenage boy with a sprit inside
Of a Samurai warrior who long ago died.
Now he's O....O....O....O Oshikuru!
O....O....O....O Oshikuru!
My oh My he's a demon Samurai
Who's the guy who had to die.......Oshikuru!

Glad to see
some action around here. I had a ton of time at work on Thursday and Friday, so hopefully we’ll keep the tempo up through the combine.
Jay Zygmunt, now that you have fired yourself, please have yourself hired by Seattle. Thanks.
