Should we sign an older CB?
There is McAlister, Surtain, Bly and Sam Madison on the market. There're not long term solution but one of them could fill an important position. I'm not saying that we should replace Bartell with one of them because we need to sign him. Bartell and McAlister look better than Bartell and Hill. If McAlister gets 2 or 3 good year left it will give time to Wade, Hill or King to develop. I think the best option of the group is Bly because he didn't miss a lot of game.
But I also understand that their not young and there are not what they used to be. I think Devaney must look at every option, that might not be the solution but it might be a short term solution. So what do you think?

we may not have a choice in the matter
an over-30 CB is probably going to be starting on the other side of Bartell…hopefully. The Giants made it work with a 33-year-old Sam Madison in 2007 starting 15 games. Too bad Tye Hill looks like a flop.

The playability isn't as important to me as the mentor factor.
A good personality in the locker room will pay HUGE dividends as this team begins to rely more and more on its youth.
Jay Zygmunt, now that you have fired yourself, please have yourself hired by Seattle. Thanks.
and the possibility of Holt and Pace departing as well.

think of the benefit that might have
for Tye Hill. who the Rams desperately need to become an acceptable starter.

not only that
but also King and Wade. They may not be superstars in waiting, but some good young depth is a great thing to have.
