Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Sat., 21 Feb. Combine open thread

Go ahead and drop your thoughts on today's OL & TE (and if you must, the kickers) workouts.

What's the biggest story of the day?  Andre Smith's no-show?  The extent of Crabtree's foot injury?  The 40-times of the tight ends?

And I could use your help on my newest Web 2.0 project: the official 3k 2009 NFL Draft Map:

Pretty cool, no?  Hit me up with ideas of what you'd like to see in the map, or if I should just burn any evidence that I wasted any time on it.

Any ideas of stuff to add?

I just did the Crabtree & J-Smith high school since they’re from Dallas.

Jay Zygmunt, now that you have fired yourself, please have yourself hired by Seattle. Thanks.

Maybe you could map out

the guys from the St. Louis area (Missouri and Illinois) who are at the combine. Like for example some kid from Belleville East High School who plays at Utah who’s there. (btw, that kid doesn’t exist, I was just making stuff up.)

Of course, since we have so many Rams fans that don’t live in or are from the St. Louis area, it might not be too interesting to them.

OL at the combine

Just taking in some of the OL workouts at the combine-
Monroe and J. Smith appear to be a step above Oher in terms of athleticism and technique.
The most impressive OL, in my opinion, was the center out of Louisville (Wood). Fast, with great form and size. I certainly wouldn’t mind seeing him picked with that second pick-especially if the Rams go with something other than OL in the first.
