Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

[Jason] Smith, a converted tight end, is also one of the most skilled players in the draft. Rob Rang of NFLDraftScout.com has told me that a good Combine could put Smith through the stratosphere. No matter what, he has his head on straight, as he proved when asked how it felt to be part of a great tackle class.

Everytime I hear anything about Jason Smith

whether it somewhere in print or on ESPN or wherever, they always mention he is a “converted tight end”. Why do I care? Is this supposed to make me think that translates well to a tackle, or something?

Possible, Tackle Eligible plays galore?

Or is it just an oddity that every “expert” feels the need to point out like they’re the first person ever to point it out?

Btw, here’s a fun fact: Jason Smith is a converted tight end.

Bet none of you knew that.

Meeting is adjourned. Oh I am sorry sir, I didn't mean to overstep my bounds. You say that.

What?

No, you say that, Governor.

Idk

maybe they think that people don’t know who he is, and that’s obviously his background to get to know him…..sarcasm intended. anyways I always think of “Late night with Jason Smith” that’s on ESPN radio

I've actually know like 3 Jason Smiths and one I went to high school with.

It’s kinda like the name “Steve Smith”. Between the famous ones and the one’s I’ve known personally, I think I’ve know of 5 different “Steve Smith’s”.

I think “Jason Williams” had a peak of popularity for a while there too.

I'm so freaking confused

From every different site and person I hear a different 1 of the 4 as the front runner.

My gut says “Andre Smith”, but my brain says…“noooooo!!!”

2009 DRAFT

As a very old rams fan (1966), I say lets fix something. Can’t tell about the FA’s, so here
is my draft thoughts:

1st round: OT, you guys pick one..
2nd round: Center—Alex Mack, MaxUnger, Jonathan Luigs..
3rd round: ILB-Micah Johnson, Darryl Sharpton
4th round: S-Sean Smith, Derek Pegues, Sherrod Martin
I left out CB, because we don’t know about Justin King, what do you think ??

that's a solid plan

I’d still like to find a solid NT for the middle of the defense.

Depends on who's available

And I’m not big on your round 3’s, but I’d love to see us fill those needs.

Jay Zygmunt, now that you have fired yourself, please have yourself hired by Seattle. Thanks.

2nd round

Max and Unger will both go in the first round by what I’ve read. I doubt the Rams will expend both first two picks on offense. Smith or Curry in the first. Most probably J. Smith. In the second its anybodies guess. Linebacker, running back, wide receiver or nose tackle. They need them all and "Whose on first" by their big board will be the choice. I don’t know how they rate their needs beyond tackle in the first round.
