Random Ramsdom, 12/26: Boxing Day surprise

Happy Boxing Day. I hope you are fortunate enough to stay far away from the crowded retail hells dotting the suburban ring around your city. Of course, the economy could use us spending a little money, so send your wives or children out to do that stuff...you've got Bowl games to watch. And now for some Random Ramsdom.

Chris Long is playing on the left side with Leonard Little out. I think this will be a better fit for Long. Of course, if the Rams don't get better in other parts of the DL it won't matter much.

Speaking getting better on the line...Nebraska's Ndamukong Suh is even favored by the oddsmakers to get drafted by the Rams.

Here's the current NFL draft order

Dream scenario:

The Rams trade the No. 1 pick and are able to stay high enough to grab both Gerald McCoy and C.J. Spiller a.k.a The Next Marshall Faulk.

Just looked up Spiller Highlights

Can’t disagree he looks like Marshall. WR ability, vision, and sets up blocks extremely well.

I predict a 2 sack game for long this week.

With how Warner holds on to the ball at times and with Long going against an RT.

I predict a zero sack, 1-2 tackles, typical game for Long this week.

The Cards aren’t going to let their gravy train (Kurt Warner) get touched. Man do we ever need a guy named Suh!

If he gets 10 sacks next year...

…will you ease up on him? Even praise him?

Warner

gets rid of the ball quicker than u would think. In fact, even with such a crappy O-line he still manages to get rid of the ball too quick for the average DE to get to him.

Long ended the game with 1 sack and 3 tackles.

So I guess that’s pretty much in the middle of our predictions. Of course, Chris was playing against a b/u.
