Don't look for former Rams on the field this weekend in Chicago

The Chicago Bears picked up two of the St. Louis Rams most prominent castoffs this season. Rams fans shouldn't expect to see their former players on the field this week though.

LB Pisa Tinoisamoa has been placed on IR, having already missed most of the season with a knee injury suffered against the Falcons in early October. Future Hall of Fame LT Orlando Pace has a strained groin that could very likely keep him on the bench this week. Not that he's been much of a force for the Bears this season anyway.

Yeah, I know, hindsight is always 20/20, but I still stand by the decision to part ways with Orlando Pace. Given his age, the position he plays and his recent injury history there was just no way to count on him starting enough games or being effective enough for the Rams. Rebuilding the offensive line, which is bruised and battered again, was a necessary move.

Turf Show Radio is on the air tonight. We're bumping it back to 7:30 p.m. Central time in the hopes it frees up a few more fans to call us.

bears fan here..

pace has been absolutely brutal this year. everyone in chicago thought he’d be decent for another year or two, but he is finished.

:(

That picture sucks to watch.

In his heyday, Orlando Pace would put Jared Allen on his ass all day…

How times have changed…I’m sorry Bears fans. Our shitty organization has ruined many careers.

You should hear the sports radio pundits here in Chicago

they’re doing a good job of taking the Bears coaching staff to task over either not giving Pace any help this past weekend and for trying to block Jared Allen with their tight ends.

Lovie is close to getting run out of town.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

After no team would offer them a trade...

It seems very resonable that the NFL knows more about the players then the fan. Lingering issues and under-hyped injurys may have taken its toll on this teams past. Is it to much to say the Rams saw the day 3 years before it happened could this become a bigger picture of how this organization treats its players. And why big time free agents wont come here.

Absolutely!!!

And John Shaw and Jay Zygmunt too!!!!!!

That’s the recipe for success!!!

Pace killed a marvelous career...

…with that idiotic hold-out 3-4 years ago that kept him from being in condition to play. He promptly tore a bicep and was gone. The next season it was a rotator cuff. Thanks for memories of years ago Orlando, but the Rams did the right thing to dump you.

Pisa made a lot of tackles, but missed just about as many too. Another good riddance.

Agree on both accounts

and would add that Pisa (since he was so undersized) was always hurt.
