Steven Jackson has no need for Aaron Curry's bush league, ACC crap
This is the greatest thing I've heard in a long, long time. A real pleasure to the ears for a long-suffering fan of the St. Louis Rams. You might recall in last week's game Steven Jackson had some words and moments with Seattle rookie LB Aaron Curry. Jackson called him out the radio yesterday, check it out:
Some guys don’t know how to be pros and I feel he has not learned that yet. Someone is over there not teaching him what it means to be a pro. It’s all right to jaw jack but unnecessary hits and taking shots at guys that are defenseless, or going after guys because they are high-profile guys and he is trying to make a name for himself, it’s not professional.
Amen SJ39. That's bush league stuff, and Curry doesn't have the resume - hell, Mora doesn't even play him on lots of downs - to try and confuse aggressive play with dirty play. Here's the best part:
...if we want to go head-to-head for 60 or 70 plays in a row, I’m willing to do so. I’m not going to back down. I’m going to let him know there’s a whole another monster, a whole another level in the NFL and this is not Wake Forest or the ACC.
A shot at the ACC, awesome. More than that, it's music to my hears to hear the face of the Rams out there talking tough...and having the numbers to back it up. This is what I want to hear after a game, not the we played hard and lost stuff.

Steven rules.
If he hadn’t been limited by the back, we would have trucked Curry at some point in the game.
Go Rams!!!

God
Hell yes SJAX. Can’t wait for a rematch with Seattle so Jackson can rock Curry’s world.

Sounds like Jackson dishes it out but can’t take it.

What?
Sounds like 1) Curry is kissing Jackson’s ass and 2) if 5 tackles is worth bragging about then I feel sorry for your 1st round Middle Linebacker.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.
+10
Our second rounder is leading him by 28 tackles with a (bleep) D-Line. Ouch.
Plus, 47 tackles on the season does not give you the right to jaw at the 2nd leading rusher in the NFL. It just doesn’t. Back off TrollHawk.

whatever.
he was touted and drafted as a MLB

Unrelated hypothetical
Dunlap just got booked on a DUI. He may drop to the 2nd because of character issues. Should the Rams take him or a QB in the 2nd (assuming they take Suh in the first)?
Another thought: What if hypothetical questions didn’t exist?
I'm too spaced out to ponder the second question...
…but as far as the first one goes…Dunlap and Suh? I think Mr. Spagnuolo would have fun coaching those two. :)

2nd question-Not to worry-
It’s hypothetically very simple. Just drink to much and don’t come home one night, and your wife will be yelling hypothetical questions at you, and you will be thinking up hypothetical answers that don’t exist. You See now???
Curry was just taking the opportunity to flap his jaws...
…because the Sea Skanks have blistered us twice this year accounting for 1/2 of their wins. In fact, we should have given them a much better game even with half our starters out and SJax injured. Minn pummeled them last week 35-9. Sheattle just has our number.
Or the overwhelming athletic ability and physical acumen.

In other words.
Steven Jackson is a freak of nature.
It’s hard to compare people to him when so few actually measure up.

hey, i agree with you on that, when Marshall first left i was kinda blinded by the fact that i was a huge #28 fan but when i decided to give sjax a fair chance he really showed me what it is to be a real #1 back in the NFL
If practice makes perfect....
Yet nobodies perfect.....
Then why practice ???
