Turf Show Radio, 11/4: A very special episode
I think I can safely say that tonight was the mother of all Turf Show Radio episodes. 3k and myself thoroughly parsed the St. Louis Rams 2009 season, and when we were through with that, it was time to talk...you know it, you love it, you can't live without it, the draft. We covered everything from questions about Marc Bulger's future, immediate and long term, Steven Jackson, Chris Long to the ideal 1st, 2nd, 3rd rounds for the Rams...covered it like a cornerback on Tim Carter.
An hour and half of action packed, non-stop Rams talk. That's a lot of hubris, but it's really that good...or informative at least. (There was one site flaw in that we didn't run live streaming thanks to the Podcast service, or AT&T DSL and for that we apologize).

Seriously?
Is it AT&T DSL giving me an erratic signal or is it this wireless router they picked up at the Dollar Store and sent me?

Who makes the router?
DSL shouldn’t be too erratic…If you’re really far from a box it might, but you’d have problems constantly. I don’t like how AT&T operates as company (or Comcast for that matter)…Verizon FIOS is much better in personal opinion…but that’s just me ranting.
You could try looking for a router firmware update. Sometimes that’s all it needs.

2wire's a good company
i’d look for a firmware upgrade.
Try unplugging the router and plugging it back in after 10 seconds. That can sometimes solve all the problems too.

I'm really fed up with Comcast.
For the most part, I like the service they provide (I understand I can’t always be first in line and that shit happens from time to time), although we did have a huge blowup a few months ago that had me threatening everything I could think of and it eventually worked.
But, the cost of Comcast is killing me. My cousin has Uverse and his deal is way cheaper and I don’t think I’ve ever heard him complain about anything. The only problem I think he had was when we were watching the Super Bowl and his “box” thing had to be turned off so it could reset itself. Thankfully, the Rams weren’t playing or I’d have torn that place apart.

U-verse
I have it and it is by far the best service I have ever had. I hated Comcast and they are too expensive. DirecTV was ok, but U-verse is hands down my favorite. Especially if you like sports, I watch 7-8 college football games any any given time due to all the different channels. They have a Sports Multi-view function that is great and saves me from having to go back and forth to find the different games. If you can get it (it is not available in every area yet), I suggest it. Oh and if you have High Def they run Fiber-optic cables to send the signal, which means you can get true 1080 instead of 720 like we got with DirecTV.

I think it's odd you said "especially if you like sports".
since there the NFL, MLB, and NHL (not sure about the NBA) are all NOT available on U-verse. Heck, you can’t even get MLBNetwork (which is one hell of a channel).
Those things make making the switch for me really difficult.

I've got Comcast internet
and DirecTV. I got no problems. My Sunday Ticket gives me all the games and the RedZone (a must for fantasy fans), and having Comcast gives me access to ESPN360 which is great for following draft prospects.
You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.

Was it just me or did anyone else notice the Jim Rome vs. Chris Everett parody on South Park tonight? Props to Matt and Trey for doing a good parody!
Fell off the couch after laughing at this one.

I haven't watched the new SP yet.
i record everything now (since I’ve become an HD/DVR snob) and am slighly backed up on my shows since the World Series has been on. I should be able to catch up this weekend. Might not be able to get to it tonight since the NIU/EMU tilt is on ESPNU!!!!
Well…..it’s important for me. With a win the Huskies will be bowl eligible.

Sando's been showing some TST love for a while
He does a great job covering all four teams in the West.
