Its more than QB
Bulger is a better QB than others in the leage which have more wins, with a back field not even in Jaskons class. When is this so called good coach going to give us a win on him. May be try to out coach the other. The rams 1 win over the lay downs was not coaching. If this guy can't get a win with a back like jaskon and a hurt but good line a ok QB ,then we need a coach. If you don't think so look around, lets use oakland, it would be nice to have there wins, wouldnot trade them for there QB,RB or OFL. May be coach. Come on coach give us a coaging win

I wouldn't take their wins to be in the same situation as the Raiders.
That organization is, and has been, in a tailspin for a decade.
And the worst part it, they don’t even know it.
Their peak is like 3 wins from here on. I’d gladly take our record over theirs if I believe in the organization (which I do). I believe the Rams will be getting better in the coming years. I do not believe the Raiders will get better until Al Davis stops peeing in his plastic pants. In other words, as long as Al Davis is alive, the Raiders will be a mess.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

What QB's?
What QBs on better teams are worse than Bulger? There are only 8 QBs who qualify who have worse QB ratings than Bulger:
1. Derek Anderson — Browns are in no way better than the Rams.
2. JaMarcus Russell — Oakland is equally terrible
3. Jake Delhomme — Carolina has one of the best running games in the league and is still 4-7
4. Kerry Collins — Tennessee was 0-6 when he was playing. They are 5-0 under Young
5. Mark Sanchez — this is prob your best argument except for the fact that he is a rookie.
6. Stafford — Lions are just as bad as the Rams (come on… we beat them)
7. Brady Quinn — see Derek Anderson
So, in other words, all the QBs who have actually been worse than Bulger this year on equally as pathetic teams.

I think you got itb wrong or maybe i said it wrong
What I was trying to say is the rams with bulger ( since he seems to be every body fault guy ) is better than many teams which have better records than the rams, including all the one’s you brang foward which have better records. You do make some good points for my concern. You say the Browns are no way better,I agree but would we lose if they played? Carolina good running game and 4-7 we be 1-11 what??? Tennessee coach made a change to get the best from the team, not to make the team change for him. Jets more wins with a rookie, or a better coach with rookie. lions I have to disagree the rams are much better they beat them with players that had to over come the lack of being out coached ( come on thing about this one You and I could coach a win here by leaving the captins in charge and sitting in the bar. I also believe the last stament would be true for all the teams you mentioned. So we need a coach sooner than we need a QB. Bulger could go to any of the teams you mentioned and others and make them better. The rams coach could go to any of them teams and make them worse. I’am and have been a ram fan all my life and i’am 50yrs, thru all the bad times we never had a coach with this kind of tallent that could not get a few wins out of the players,.justb on pride. Do yopu believe the team believes in this guys system? Sure don’t play like it.

Our biggest coaching problem
is the offensive coordinator. We have the worst plan for an offensive scheme I have ever seen. We either hand it to Jackson up the middle or throw a short pass to the sideline. Do we throw 10 yard down and in or crossing patterns? No. Everything goes out to the sidelines. On 4th and 4, why would you throw a pass out in the flat? I’m not sure it would have been a first down even if he caught it. We could have the Saints receivers and we still would be throwing short passes in the flat.
If they don’t get rid of Shurmur before next year, or at least force him to change his play calling, then next year will be another pitiful year.

Next year we should get Favre
as an offensive coordinator. Assuming he doesn’t play. I think a good OC would be a former successful QB. And I think most people think Favre was a fairly successful QB. I don’t know if he would come here, but I think a QB would make the best OC, someone like Peyton Manning would be great.

+1
I hate the west coast offense, it’s like admitting you don’t have the talent to play matchups and I think we could do better with a more traditional passing attack. I admit that a lot of times the wideouts have tough times getting open, and using a timing based/short route pass attack compliments that but as of late I have been impressed with our recievers(o-line also) and think we should threaten a little more consistently.
You get a little more scary in the passing game and the running game becomes even more dangerous. I don’t think I’m saying anything the coaches don’t know and that’s the worst part. They know what their supposed to do, they just can’t come up with a successful way to execute it. I will admit that a lack of talent can make coaching decisions look worse than they are, but I’m not sure that’s the case. I’m not sure that blame should be toned down on Bulger though, his weak arm has brought many a cringe to my face, but the coaching is also bad. As far as defense goes, I place a lot of the blame on a lack of talent, I very much approve of the play calling it’s just the offense usually out talents us into first downs etc. But as far as offense goes I think we matchup at least evenly with a lot of the D’s we’ve faced and we’ve been too scared to take advantage.
Almost wish TO was here so he could get Shurmur on the hot seat for us. Who knows maybe Shurmur’s changing things up as I write this but I doubt it.

Agreed
Out with west coast, in with Coryell offense, and in with Mike Martz?. But more importantly in with Coryell offense All we need is a better tight end and possible another speed WR and maybe #2 back and we’re set to run this. We already have an adequate running game to run this offense. And of course we need a strong armed QB. This one sentence is a huge reason why we should acquire Erik Ainge:
He has a big arm and the fact he was only sacked three times last season illustrates his ability to avoid the pass rush. Man that sounds exciting, I hope Spags is reading this and decides to base the offense off one blogger’s opinion. It could be the best decision he’s ever made in his life.

Bulger's no longer an issue...
There’s no way the Rams are gonna pay him $9.5M to come back next year. Sayonara!

good point
your right there. But not realizing that bulger is not the problem, dosent make us any better next year or for the next 10 or when ever the coach goes. Would you draft a #1 or #2 over all pick with Sgag being the coach? Better yet what if you were # 1 or #2 over all pick or even a first rounder at a QB poistion, would you take a chance on your carrear with Sgag?
