Keys to Vikings Game

There are some keys to help score against the Vikings. Using tricks fakes and all that stuff

Defense:

I have seen Farve in action with Peterson and it is not pretty. play man to man 8 men in box confuse with blitzes

Make sure the secondary is stornger than usual

Offense:

Boller or Null not Bulger

Avery has to catch passes along w/ Keenan Burton

Strong OL

randomize passes & runs running to the right every 1st down has to stop.

SJ39 needs to have a big game

i say we let SJ39 pass like antwaan Rande el w/ the redskins

Also who do you think should start/

IMO I think Null should start many teams like the Lions and Jets are starting Rookie a Qb

and  think Null would have been a much higher pick if he went to a bigger college

The Jets and Lions are starting rookie’s who were experienced against good colleges teams, taught by D1 coaches and were well regarded.

Asking a Division 2 player from a spread offense to come in and play like Stafford or Sanchez is ridiculous.

I believe in 2010

But it is better than...

The reason I am saying this is to give him expiereince I don’t believe in Bulger or after the 49ers game Boller so why not start Null

other than the fact Null was in a spread offense that he did well at the Rams have a short passing offense which during training camp he did good enough to beat out Brock Berlin

I don't think

anyone has ‘realistic’ expectations of Null playing like Sanchez or Stafford… at least I hope not.

Giving Null a shot depends on how well he knows the offense. I don’t know, but I don’t think he’s practicing with the first team. It would be nice to dream, but in reality they would have to slim the offense down to what he knows. Heck, wouldn’t be much different than with Boller playn’. With his athleticism [compared to B&B] he might even make plays…. or the opposite. Either way, I say work him in.

That's what he supposed to say.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

true

but hopefully he is and can play some soon

SHURMUR NEEDS TO GO

Thanks I musta’ missed that. Then he should get a shot.
I still don’t understand; when the game was out of reach last week it would’ve been a good time to see what he can do.

give Null a shot , it can not get any worse

The chances of winning this Sunday

are slim and none. We might as well find out what we’ve got in guys like Null. Does it matter whether we lose 35-0 with Boller or 42-0 with Null?

And let’s start throwing some passes down the field to Avery. Jackson sure isn’t going to do much with nine men in the box since they know we won’t throw long.

hey guys guess what?

Howie long gave farve trouble in his last years. I’m thinking Chris should at least get one sack that’d be cool. I wonder if thiers any other father son combo thats done that.

Are you guys

insane….start Null against the Vikings?
The Vikings are one of the most complete defensive teams in the league. They have the run stuffers in the William boys. They have the pass rush…Allen had 4.5 sacks against GB. They have solid LB play…EJ Henderson will be a star in the league. A solid secondary that benefits from great pass rush.
So lets look at this again, you want to start a rookie, 7th round QB that will be nervous as hell making his first start, and you want to play him against THAT Defense with OUR offense?
Talk about throwing a lamb to the wolves. It would be like going to a gun fight with a slingshot. Not only would that be fucked up, but it is highly unlikely.
Just what would you expect to see from him?

+1

what he said…..except Null was a 6th rounder.

But I have no problem bringing him in if (once) it is a blowout

How does everyone keep spelling Favre, "Farve"?

He’s been playing for like 20 years and is pretty much a living legend.

i think

i just write it how i say it. And over the years I’ve just gotten used to it the fact that i’m a bad speller probably contributes as well.

Yea

I was angry from the baseball Cardinals when I wrote that.

Null

Will be playing. Bollers gonna have his bell rung by this defense, so Null will get playing time. Who’s our 4th QB?

Curious what you meant by a couple things
I have seen Farve in action with Peterson and it is not pretty.

Are you saying the Viking’s offense isn’t playing well? I beg to differ. We’ve scored at least 27 points in every game. Favre has 8 TDs to only 1 (questionable) INT. Peterson is the second leading rusher in the league and leader in TDs. Harvin adds an emensely confusing selection of trick plays to keep D’s off balance. Maybe its not as beautiful as say the Colts, but there offense is plenty “pretty” right now.

Make sure the secondary is stornger than usual

Oh. Is that all? Easy. Just increase their Spd and Cov skills by hitting X, X, O, X, up, down…

its nat pretty an in

defense for almost al teams

Key to Vikes game - Lose by less than 30 points and score a TD

A Ram win Sunday against the Vikes would be a bigger upset than Joe Namath and the Jets taking out the Colts in the ‘69 Super Bowl. For starters, let’s try to avoid our usual repetitive playcalling; incomplete pass on 1st down, followed by a SJax run for 3 yards, and then an incompletion (or 3-4 yd completion) resulting in 4th down and a punt. 3 and out. Everybody knows that’s what we’re going to do. Try something different like 3 straight runs or 3 straight passes or going for it on 4th down or an onsides kick or a fake punt. Try anything different. Heck let SJax throw a pass. He can’t block, but maybe he can throw. Then try the old shovel pass. Anything but the status quo. We’re 1-4 in FG tries, so don’t kick anything except long ones. If we get in the redzone, play 4-down football. On defense, blitz and blitz some more. We gotta get some pressure on Favre and it ain’t gonna come from our “Fearful Foursome” D-Line.
Lastly maybe Favre and Peterson will accidentally trip and fall into each other causing each to be a little dazed for awhile so we keep the point spread under 30.
