NFL Week 4: Early game open thread
There's a bevy of early games to keep us occupied. Only one NFC West team is playing early; Seattle at Indy...Go Indy!
Is there a game Monday...oh wait.
As far as injuries for our game, no updates yet. It sounds like they're not counting on Bartell to start. Barron sounds good to go. And no word as to whether it will be Paris Lenon or Larry Grant at SLB. Who would you prefer?
I like Grant for the rushing ability we saw some in the preseason, but is that realistic for today?

Isn't that picture of Larry Grant a Jets TD?

anyone watching Pats-Ravens
can someone expalin to me why that was intentional grounding on Flacco? He was out of the pocket and the ball went past the line of scrimmage. Has the rule changed? Just pissed because the it seems like the Pats are getting some serious favortism from the refs—already that grounding call, plus a personal foul for a hand lightly scraping Brady’s helmet, and another one for a guy awkwardly stumbling into him

The Lions aren't bad anymore
They got a good deal in the Williams trade and their offense seems pretty strong. They have Calvin Johnson as a great target, Stafford looks good, Pettigrew is a good target for him and their line is pretty good. Plus Smith is a decent RB. They look pretty decent on offense at least.
We need to stop comparing the Rams to them because we will be very disappointed.
