Bradley Fletcher's injury
What a horrible injury...an ACL tear and a meniscus tear? I can tell your from personal experience (I've had both injuries) that that sort of injury isn't pretty.
I'm not saying he won't be able to come back, but I don't think that knee will ever be the same. Just my 2 cents

It's not just your opinion
it’s a fact, backed up by the American Journal of Sports Medicine, that ALL players coming back from an ACL are never the same. They are in fact less of a player and will never be what they were prior to the injury. Heck, statistics show that a small % [~20%] never return to the NFL. I know he’ll recover, but he won’t be the same.

ugh
i was really starting to like him too i think he was turning into a really good corner. He mirrored the receiver so well he just has to learn to keep his hands off and know where the ball is but that stuff is teachable. Also he was pretty physical as well.

Me too
I’ve had 2 major reconstructions and although one of them is really solid, it doesn’t have the same movement. Mines a shoulder not knee but today’s full reconstruction always has reduced range of movement or less capacity for explosive power (or both) than the original build. That’s just the state of the art for ligament work, right now anyway.
There’s some very interesting developing technologies that are already raising the question: How much hardware can a human make use of and still compete fairly?
Most of you have seen the sprinter with both legs made of springs, right? He failed to make the Olympics so the question didn’t need to be answered yet.
There’s real life robotic/bionic implants on the way that will surpase God’s work and take reconstructive surgery to the level that chemicals (drugs) already are: not only elective, but performance enhancing.
My other reconstruction was destroyed again, by the way. Just the thought of surgery nauseats me.
Lived in LA during the Rams and Raiders days. Now based in NorCal, I am still a die hard Rams fan and Raiders season ticket holder.
