Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

Incognito is out indefinitely and long-snapper Chris Massey done for the year

The PD says The Rams are having tryouts to replace Chris Massey who's out for the year with damage to his left ACL, and RG Richie Incognito is out indefinitely with a "low-grade" Lisfranc injury to his foot.  "It might be a 2-3 week injury. We will not have him this week. That can be a tough one if it is a bad one," coach Steve Spagnuolo said.

Lisfranc injuries are on weight bearing bones, and can take a while to heal for heavy guys, or WR's that cut hard on the foot.  This will be a weeks-long injury at minimum and there's a possibility he doesn't come back this year.

With Greco having been inactive for the last couple of weeks, it's hard to imagine he'd be ready to just step in and play, so we'll see Adam Goldberg at a minimum and maybe a rotation.

It just keeps getting more and more awesome!

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

Couldn't all these injuries have waited until after this week?

This is possibly our best shot at a win and we’re down our top WR, our #2 CB, our best Guard, one of our better DT’s and our precious long snapper. We still have a shot to win, but it’d be easier with half of those guys. When do the vegas odds come out? Those would be interesting to see. I’m guessing we’re small underdogs, at least in comparison to what we have been all year.

Reserved-- been waiting 6 weeks to have this sig, I guess I can wait 1 more

When it rains it Pours!!!

What do we have to do to get out from under the injury bug??? For 3 years now injuries have plagued the Rams over and over and we really don’t have that much talent to compenste for it. This era has been like a Catch-22, the worse it gets the worse it gets the worse it gets.

I hate to give up on the Rams but I’m beginning to start looking forward to the 2010 Draft and the 2010 season. That’s sad, so sad (sigh). Oh well,

Go Rams!

"We can't run. We can't pass. We can't stop the run. We can't stop the pass. We can't kick. Other than that, we're just not a very good football team right now." --- Bruce Coslett, New York Jets Head Coach circa 1990s
