Billy Devaney
His bio says he had a hand in three SB-winning Redskins teams, and one SB-going Falcons team. Does anyone know how much of a hand he really had and which draft picks he was responsible for? Considering he was responsible for our most recent draft, the complete revamping of player personnel, the hiring of the head coach, the free agents and the 180 degree change in organizational philosophy, I'm wondering whom he might have on his radar for the 2010 draft, given that once again, we'll likely be picking 1, 2, or 3 and have a host of needs.

As far as the 2009 draft goes...
I’m not bragging on anybody except Lauranitis. We sure got rid of a lot of Martz/Linehan/Haslett deadwood, but our FA acquistions this year were less than spectacular. Plus letting Witherspoon go for a song..? And, I’m having a tough time defending Spags with the likes of Shurmur and Flajole as coordinators. Last year’s 2-14 team was abysmal, but with a bit of luck they could’ve won 5-6 games. This year’s squad is making an honest run at 0-16.

Butler has been solid when healthy
Brown has been good, Bajema is not really important, Dahl has been good while in, all the other signings are players to fill the roster and don’t really count.
Reserved-- been waiting 6 weeks to have this sig, I guess I can wait 1 more

I don't know about how much influence he had
but I’m pretty sure he gets the credit for the Falcons drafting Matt Ryan.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.
