Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Do we know everything?

Regarding the trade?  Could there have been leaked information?  Danny Amendola, our new return man, was formerly a member of the WR happy Phili Eagles.  I think its possible Coach Spags and Devaney may have gone to Amendola when Eagles called and asked, "So, you got any information on this guy?"  Would they take a former teammates word on a 0 catch wideout named Gibson?  This thought came to mind several hours ago and its all I can think about.

gibson opened eyes with his preseason play. Plus Shurmur used to be on the eagles coaching staff and spags has history with them as well. Plus they needed a linebacker so it was a perfect opportunity to get a pick and a receiver. It’s 2:12 Am here in Baltimore and i had some time to think when i heard the news at 7 and i like it. I am a huge fan of witherspoon and i thought he was worth more than this trade but he is declining and i heard he injured his back last game so he would have been struggling all around. Let him in on a team that has a winning shot. Great trade all around we got a reasonable deal. I agree 90% of how Spags is coaching and how devaney are running this team we’re only getting better every week that’s just the bottom line.

people are forgetting...

we aren’t running the air martz offensive system here.
We run a west coast offense with mostly short to intermediate routes, with a heavy emphasis on running the ball. This guy may not have top end speed, but it really doesn’t matter for the offensive system that we have in place. This guy knows how to run routes, is athletic with decent size, and has good hands in traffic.

If anything, you could argue that Donnie Avery doesn’t have much of a role in our offensive system with him being more a home-run guy.

I totallly forgot he banged up his back

(and his hip) in OT this past week.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

pretty sure it was in OT

not that it matters, but he played all the way up until he hurt himself on that last jags drive.

It was.

he and Bartell got hurt on the same play at the beginnnig of the OT.

But isn’t it interesting that it only seemed like it could have been the 1st quarter? That’s what happens when you really don’t do anything through the course of the game.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.
