Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Featured FanPosts: Free agent window shopping

We've had some great Fanposts recently, so I wanted to make sure I took a moment to call your attention to them. Remember, St. Louis Rams fans don't have to be selected to be a fan blogger here, everyone has the floor at TST.

First and foremost, if you're like me, February's free agent frenzy has been on you mind a lot lately. With a couple good additions in free agency and a good draft, the Rams should be pretty competitive in 2010 (if only I had a dime for every time I said that). Brendan W has a look at some of the potential free agents for 2010, and I say potential because there's always a good bet that some of the players on our wish list will resign with their current teams. I'd like to see the Rams get some help on their defensive line, but the tops names at DE are approaching 30. There might be more available at DT. One free agent addition I'd like to see would be Jerious Norwood as a complement to Steven Jackson.

A hidden hand at play in Alex Barron's improved performance this week?

And then there's the rookie salary discussion, which will be a huge conversation around the league when CBA negotiations heat up.

We get lots of great Fanposts, so keep up the good work.

AND PLEASE

No Rush threads. We’ve still got some activity on the front page for those of you who dare tread into those waters. Let’s try to remember there’s a lot of football-only discussions to be had, and that this community more than any has the capability of fully investigating the aspects that drive those discussions.

I would like to see

us get some OL help via FA, but without a quality draft or 2 we can’t expect to be competitive. I’m hoping for help from both. It is also my favorite topic until we start winning. Window shopping for players that is.
