Free Agents to Grab in 2010

I've been so focused on the draft of '10 that I haven't really scoured the web to see who will potentially be available next year.  There are some quality guys out there that I think would make a nice fit on our team, or are at least interesting.

Here's a breakdown:

Lee Evans WR - UFA (Unrestricted)

Tank Johnson DL - UFA

DeMarcus Ware DL - UFA

Terence Newman CB - UFA

Aaron Kampman LB - UFA

Will Allen CB Dolphins - UFA

Logan Mankins OL - UFA

Vince Wilfork DL - UFA

Pierre Thomas RB - RFA

Eli Manning  QB - UFA

Chris Snee OL - UFA

Corey Webster CB - UFA

Richard Seymour DL - UFA (Leonard Little is a free agent in '10)

Ellis Hobbs CB - UFA

Lofa Tatupu LB - UFA

Rob Sims OL - UFA

Kyle Vanden Bosch DL - UFA

With Incognito, Barron, and Little all going unrestricted in '10 we have some opportunities to make some serious moves in free agency.  Of course there are players on this list that we have slim to no chance of getting, i.e- Eli Manning, but there are some players that I would absolutely love to see in our jersey.  Snee, Ware, Newman, Kampman, Allen, Mankins, Wilfork, Seymour, Lofa, or Sims would have and immediate and, I think, profound impact on this team.

Not that this will probably happen, but could you imagine if we paired Lofa with Leonidas as LB's with freakin' Wilfork up front!!  (By the by, I am no longer calling Laurinaitis by his name but by the name of the great King Leonidas.  In case you didn't know, he's kind of a big deal)

I picked Ware

but i,d rather have both him and Wilfork if it was possible, that would really boost our defense.

Jerry Jones

will never let Ware leave. He will pay out his ass to keep that G!

Chris Snee and Aaron Kampman

I see Seymour getting traded before the year is up.

I’d like to see the Rams throw their hat in the ring.

I believe in 2010

If they're going to trade Seymore

they better hurry up. The deadline is October 20.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

Seymour is

not going to be traded. He was just traded to Oakland for a high round pick (I think a 1st). In fact Oakland was already talking about a fat payday for him.

Seymour is

integral to what Oakland is doing on defense. He’s only leaving if he makes himself intolerable.

Lived in LA during the Rams and Raiders days. Now based in NorCal, I am still a die hard Rams fan and Raiders season ticket holder.

Check me if I'm wrong...

But didn’t Manning sign with the Giants this offseason for a huge deal?

he’s signed through 2015

Mankins & Wilfork

I would love to see just about any of these players on our team, but I think that Wilfork would bump our defense WAY up by getting that big body on the line. With him and Carriker in the middle we would pose a serious battle for opposing RB’s. I still have hope for Chris Long. I think there’s a longer adjustment period for D-Linemen than many other positions.

Mankins has proven his worth in NE and would add a boat load of leadership for an O-Line that desperately needs it. Combine him, Smith, and Brown and we’re headed in the right direction.

I'd take anybody that has NOT....

….been associated with the Rams organization in the last 5 years.
