Jim Haslett has been informed he will not be the Rams’ head coach in 2009.
There were also indications that the Rams might be making additional "cuts" in their coaching field as they zero in on their next head coach.
From the Post-Dispatch's Jim Thomas (Hat tip to tbell61). Based on this earlier report from the PD, Garrett may be out too, leaving Ryan, Frazier and Spagnuolo as the final three.

The house-cleaning begins in earnest now. That said, Haslett did his earnest best with the situation he was given as head coach. I like him in that role better than as a D-coordinator. Best of luck to him elsewhere.
