A long time ago...
I was a bartender/waiter at a, let’s say, popular Dallas-area establishment and I got Irvin and a pal some water and sodas while they were playing pool. Tip? $0. I assumed it was because he was poor.

Marsh & GWB isn’t a bad area; it’s at least in North Dallas, where I grew up. Unlike the Dallas of old who loved to play on the south and eastsides.

as a former bartender myself
i can appreciate getting stiffed by the well-heeled. when i lived in CO, I once got a buck and half from that dude from the black crows, who i would have thought was a homeless man had someone not told me otherwise.
