Al Saunders quote on Torry.

From the PD article

"They doubled him quite a bit," offensive coordinator Al Saunders said. "So you try to dictate a couple of routes to him, and they doubled him over the top. We had to throw the checkdowns underneath. But he'll get going. He's a guy that he'll get his numbers when the year's over."

So that's the new strategy..

Why couldn't Linehan have said that, and yeah I know what he meant to say, but a couple more games like that and we'll be wondering if he really meant it.

Holt

My problem with that quote is that “he’ll get his numbers when the year’s over.” Honestly i could give a shit about his #’s as long as he helps the team win. 1 catch is not helping the team win and a lackluster effort by the Rams to get him the ball.

With Bennett out the defense focused on shutting down Holt in the passing game

We desperately need another receiver (besides McMichael) to step up. You can’t run 1 receiver out there and expect him to ever get open, especially against a team with d-backs like Philly.

In the world I see--you are stalking elk through the damp canyon forests around the ruins of Rockefeller Center. You'll wear leather clothes that will last you the rest of your life. You'll climb the wrist-thick kudzu vines that wrap the Sears Tower. And when you look down, you'll see tiny figures pounding corn, laying strips of venison on the empty carpool lane of some abandoned superhighway.

torry open

The only way that torry is gonna get open is with a qb that has time to through. It’s painfully obvious that he isn’t gonna get open deep b/c they are going to put a man on to jam him and a safety over the top. Therefore, the only real answer to get him open is either square in routes (that the rams have always run) or crossing routes that allow him to run across the defense and get separation from the corner. Both of which require time to get open.

The best thing for Holt now

Is for Avery to get healthy. His speed can stretch out defenses and open holes for Holt inside.

wish the Ram fans could coach this team

it clear by now that even our fans have better coaching skils that the curent coaching staff
from top to bottom they realy suck, and not only with hold , they just dont have the means to get any thing out of any player, this team of players under this leadership of coaches has completely given up , no confidence at all to even compete, very sad to see that
