Random Ramsdom, 8/27: ghosts of Rams QBs past

It's Trent Green day 'round the internets. The former Rams, former Chiefs starter and current Rams backup QB will get the start against the Kansas City Chiefs in tomorrow night's Governor's Cup.

Depth show

It will be nice to see what kind of talent we have behind our starters as a full unit. Hopefully the field time they see tomorrow night will get them ready for week 1, because we know some (if not most) will get some PT in Philly.

More than just our feelings..

It will make other teams feel differently about passing against us. Depth is key for season-long success, and for our pass defense to have any success, a lot of it will ultimately depend on the guys who log most of the time tomorrow night at CB and S.

Is Jackson playing tomorrow?

In the world I see--you are stalking elk through the damp canyon forests around the ruins of Rockefeller Center. You'll wear leather clothes that will last you the rest of your life. You'll climb the wrist-thick kudzu vines that wrap the Sears Tower. And when you look down, you'll see tiny figures pounding corn, laying strips of venison on the empty carpool lane of some abandoned superhighway.
