Free book!!!

Here's an exciting opportunity for one lucky TST reader, the chance to get a free book!!!

Kenny Mayne, the last bastion of dry wit at the ESPN noise factory, has written a book titled, An Incomplete and Inaccurate History of Sport. As you might have surmised from the title, it's about sports. Football is a sport. Therefore, the good folks at Random House publishing have contacted me to see if TST might be interested in receiving a free copy of the book, reading it, and writing up a little review/reaction to post on the site.

Being as though I prefer my reading in magazine form or on the web and I just plain don't have time to carve out for a book that doesn't exactly jump off the shelves at me at the moment and because we're all about sharing the love here at TST, I thought I'd hand this wonderful opportunity to someone else in our growing little community of Rams fans. In all seriousness though, it will probably be an entertaining read.

So how 'bout it? Who wants to read a book?

If'n you're interested, be the first to say so in the comments of this post. Once that happens, I'll get in touch with you and give your name and address to Random House so they can send the book directly to you.

After receiving the book and reading it, we will expect some sort of book report. I'll post it on the front page to help the rest of the world decide whether or not they should drop 20 bones on the book.

ok, door's open...don't everyone rush in at once...
