Jay Zygmunt and the St. Louis Rams have come to mutual agreement that he will step away as the team's president and general manager, effective immediately, sources told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen.

It's official, according to ESPN. And thus begins the next era of the Rams.

And thus, the rebuilding of the franchise can really begin. We are going to be down for quite a few years over this kind of chaos in the front office and ownership.

I don't know about quite a few.

Keep in mind, Miami only won 1 game last year and look at them this year. It’s about filling in the holes.

Swiss cheese is less "holy" than the Rams.

No, I am not starting a “holier than thou” argument! ;)

Yeah, but

swiss cheese is delicious. The rams are just atrocious.

Also...I find it comical...

that you used Miami as your example. Notice that once Scott Linehan left, things fell into place for the FISH. :)

takes the sting out of a season

It was a bad loss, but hell, it was 1 game. There are 12 others that are just as bad in the W-L column.

The Rams

have a lot of decisions to make this offseason, and it’s a damn good thing that Zygmunt won’t be there to make them.
