Confirmed, Rams without Steven Jackson for week 11
Rams RB Steven Jackson will not play this weekend. Hell, according to the PD he won't even make the trip to San Fran.
Making the news that much worse is the fact that his leg injury isn't healing well and the three-time thousand yard rusher will see a specialist.
Big opportunity for RB Antonio Pittman to grab the starting mantle in Jackson's absence. Haslett challenged his backup runner to just that, from Steve Korte:
He needs to capitalize on (his opportunities). He can’t have 13 rushing attempts for 20 yards. He needs to break through and get a 100-yard game and show that he is a back that can play in this game for a long time. I’ve already told him that he needs to run his butt off this week and prove that he deserves this opportunity.

if so, that'd be the weakest PUP I can remember
Nothing’s broken. Nothing’s torn. Just a bruise. I might start calling him Yossarian. He’s clearly found the catch-22 — how to be put on IR without actually being hurt.

Is anyone going to mention
he got hurt in garbage time?
As much as I’m pulling for Haslett right now, when I saw Jackson get hurt, I couldn’t help but question why he was even in the game.
Our country reeks of trees. Our yaks are really large. And they smell like rotting beef carcasses. And we have to clean up after them. And our saddle sores are the best. We proudly wear women's clothing. While searing sand blows up our skirts.
And the buzzards, they soar overhead. And poisonous snakes will devour us whole. Our bones will bleach in the sun. And we will probably go to hell. And that is our great reward. For be-ing the-uh Ro-yal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen!

Part of being a good player, is being on the field.
I guess Jackson missed that memo.
I have witnessed time and time again.

Don't you know
that if you get a huge contract you aren’t allowed to be hurt?
