Rams resign Fakhir Brown

This is a good move. With Manning Jr. breaking his foot this week against the Redskins and Tye Hill banged up, the Rams need help at cornerback...like the one they mysteriously cut a few weeks back. The Rams did manage to play pretty well in coverage yesterday, limiting Santana Moss, the Skins' leader in receiving yards and TDs, to just 2 catches for 22 yards.

The move doesn't come as much of a surprise with talks having started two weeks ago. Welcome back Brown, now stay off the juice.

I always thought smoke was Fakhir's issue....

Anyway, welcome back.

Also, I’m mad that Manning got hurt. I was starting to like watching him play.

Nothin'. A handful of nothin'. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin'. Just like today when he kept comin' back at me......with nothin'.

Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.

Attempts at answers

Jerametrius Butler – got signed by the Saints in the offseason. I have no idea what happened to him after that.
Aeneas Williams, Dre Bly, & Dexter McCleon – How about the Keith Lyle / Ryan McNeil combo? Combined for 17 INT’s in ‘97. Think about 17 interceptions among just two Rams… unimaginable nowadays
Dre Bly – Left in free agency to be the star defender for the Lions. Realized they weren’t going anywhere and pushed a trade to the Broncos.

This is me walking into a surprise party I already knew about

But attempting to fake that I didn’t know a thing . . .

OMG! Yes! Thank you so much Rams!

this is GREAT news

espcially considering we’re going up against TO et al this week. even while romo-less, dallas’ receving corps are legit, and brown should help shore up the secondary to help stop the pass on sunday.
